Tenuta Don Ruggero is an old farmhouse situated in the context of the Sicilian countryside at 800 meters above sea level, on the edge of the Park of Madonie. It enjoys very broad landscapes that leave eastward see in the distance the Etna volcano and to the north the proximity to the sea allows guests to reach in a half-hour drive of the beautiful coast of Cefalu. Its geographical location places it at an equal distance from all the most interesting island, facilitated by the proximity of the major motorway axis and from the airports of Palermo and Catania, a 1-hour drive. Nearby, just a 10 minute drive you can visit the ancient villages of Polizzi Generosa, Petralia Soprana and Petralia Sottana and only 1 hour's drive you can reach the beautiful Villa del Casale with its precious mosaics and castle sperlinga.
The sleeping area is on two floors. From common lounges, all with fireplaces, access to 11 bedrooms, all with private bath; looking out the windows or balconies with sweeping views over the courtyards, the reconstructed Italian garden or on the high mountains of the park.
The rooms can accommodate two to four people, a total of 28 beds. Two of these represent a small apartment, with two adjoining bedrooms, each with private bathroom.
The structure is particularly suitable to receive homogeneous groups of guests large and small thanks to the presence of a large dining room, a relaxation room and a kitchen richly equipped including a wood oven, will have the opportunity to live a pleasant resort.
In the courtyards, at dusk, the large tables can be enriched with all the farm products (oil, to vegetables, fruits, legumes), so as to enjoy the delicious fragrance of a good food.
A large infinity pool (16 x 8), on an endless panorama, complete the facilities dedicated to outdoor activities.
In the cold months the comfort is ensured by an ecological heating floor and numerous large wood-burning fireplaces in all common areas.
In the warm months, the fresh mountain air does not necessitate air conditioning.
Nearby you are a riding stable and a very fun adventure park, recommended for both children and adults.

Weekly price includes gas and water consumption, 1 set of bath towels and 1 pool towel per person and bed linen.
Electricity 400 kw/h per week. € 0.38 per kw/h extra to be paid cash upon departure.
The pool is open to guests from May to September. The possible opening of the pool during extra periods shall be agreed upon by the owners.
