Absolutely glorious. 5+star accommdation. Susan is a gracious host. Her welcome tour was warm and inviting and she explained everything. My room was very comfortable and I slept better than I have in a long time. The neighbourhood was peaceful and the subway was a very short walk with a 10-15 min trip into South Station and Downtown Crossing. I will definitely be returning. I highly recommend Susan as an Airbnb hostess. She keeps her home immaculate and is a pleasure to be with.

I couldn't be happier with my decision to stay here. I decided to travel to Boston for a few days from London on a bit of a whim and wanted to stay someone that was residential, welcoming, comfortable, private, perfect to crash at after a long day exploring the city. This house delivers all those and more. Susan is a fantastic host, who communicated with me from the outset and ensured that, not only did I know everything about staying in the house and enjoying my time there, but how to get there from Logan Airport (which isn't long at all) and how to get around Boston and the surrounding area. I feel every effort was made to make my stay as pleasant as possible and it was small touches like being asked if I have breakfast in the morning that made me enjoy my time there a little bit more. My privacy was fully respected but at the same time I found Susan really engaging, friendly and totally approachable if there was anything I needed to ask. It’s a very nice and quiet neighbourhood and the house is only a couple of minutes’ walk away from Shawmut station on the Red Line, so getting into town is fairly quick. I would normally come back towards late afternoon for a quick pit-stop and then head back out for the evening without losing much time through travelling. And if you’re into Caribbean food, try Only One Jamaican Restaurant on Norfolk St. It’s a 15-minute walk away – which is fine for me, even if Susan doesn't think so! I’d definitely stay here again if in Boston and enthusiastically recommend it to others.

Close to the subway, the grocery store and the laundromat, Susan's home is a great place to stay. There is an extensive list of rules that must be followed during the stay, but these are in place only to ensure the comfort of all the guests staying at the house. Susan is a gracious host and is always willing to give suggestions on things to do in the city, help navigating the neighborhood or, if you wish, simply to let you be. There is a large number of guests who stay at the house, but it is nonetheless clean and comfortable.

It was my first AirBnB experience, and I was really nervous on who we would end up with. My husband and I wanted to do a quick weekend getaway to Boston, and I did not want to spend a ludicrous amount on just hotel rooms when we would barely be in the room itself (trust me, they are pricey in Boston). I looked into my price range and saw that Susan's place came up with the highest reviews, so we took a shot. What a GREAT experience we had! Susan was so welcoming, even when we came in late on Friday night and offered us snacks and conversation before showing us around her beautiful home. It was a very clean place, and everything was separate for the guests, which I liked. Our room was on the 3rd floor in the attic and it was a very nice space- she even put fresh roses on the table alongside with some homemade pecan turtles! We slept great, and headed out for our adventure the next day. It was only a 3-4 minute walk to the station and we were able to squeeze in a lot that day since we did not have a long commute to the Freedom Trail and other things. Susan does have a dog, Zoey, whom we absolutely loved. Don't worry about her following you around or be in your space- Zoey keeps to herself unless you invite her over. Susan also went up and beyond when we needed to print our boarding passes (Spirit charges you) as well as providing a few small things that I forgot that we needed, and it was something that I truly did appreciate. We are definitely going to be coming back and staying here on our next visit.

To say myself and my 5yr old son felt safe and comfortable would be an understatement. Look no further for a place to stay. Super clean home, perfect location, and an amazing host who went above and beyond any expectations you could have. My son will be talking about Susan and Zoe for years to come!

It was a nice place. There is a dog which you should be aware of if there are people with allergies :)
