This place is really great - just as it looks in the pictures. The bed is comfy and the apartment is very quiet despite being in a great location. Bettina is a brilliant host! Couldn't be more attentive and welcoming - was always on hand to give good advice about where to go and what to do. Would highly recommend

Bettina is the perfect example of the perfect host. From the moment we arrived she was smiley, happy and welcoming and couldn't do enough for us, recommending restaurants, attractions and giving directions. She's a lifelong local and so knows it all! She also kept in touch during our stay to see if she could help any further. The apartment is beautiful, absolutely spotless and a slice of history at over 400 years old. The bed is super big and comfortable. At the back Bettina has set up a kind of info centre, with restaurant cards and maps and tourism leaflet and books. It's set right on the canal and as soon as you step out you're in the heart of Amsterdam.

We had a wonderful stay at Bettina's apartment! She was very well organised from the point when we booked and communicative. She gave us a very warm welcome and had some great local tips for restaurants and places to see. We loved the central location and would love to stay again the next time we're in Amsterdam. Thank you Bettina!

The neigbourhood was perfect for sightseeing, located on a wonderful scenic canal in central Amsterdam. Bettina was at the apartment when we arrived to welcome us even though our plane was delayed and it was late on Saturday evening. Bettina was the most wonderfully warm host, the hugest bunch of pink peonies were the first things we saw in her gorgeous apartment. Because we had told her of our specific interests museums, history and fashion, shops and markets she was ready with a pen to highlight on a street map (she provided) the places we should not miss. Giving us additional ideas and suggestions of how we might like to plan our 4 day stay. Bettina clearly loves Amsterdam and wants others to enjoy her city and her beautiful apartment as much as she does. Pamphlets, maps and business cards are laid out ready for guests to peruse at ones leisure in one of the rooms and she kindly went so far as to call a restaurant to book a table for me on my last night as I was dining alone and she knew they would take care of me. Fabulous meal and lovely wait staff. Had an amazing time staying at, they looked after me so well. Anybody that chooses to stay at Le Petit Prince will not be disappointed, you will have a wonderful time.

Great trip to Amsterdam made even better by Bettina and Johan's hospitality. The flat, which was just as described, is situated on a pretty, quiet street and has all the amenities (and some very nice welcoming touches) needed for a short stay. Bettina and Johan met us on our arrival and made us feel very welcome - although we had arrived late, Johan made arrangements for us to eat at an amazing restaurant. Throughout the weekend, Bettina kept in touch with us and let us leave our suitcases at her house as we had a late flight back to Scotland on the Sunday. We would very much recommended Le Petit Prince!

Our 4 night stay in this beautiful apartment was everything we had hoped for. The location is near perfect, beautiful, central yet quiet at night. Bettina was a fantastic host and one of the friendliest people you will ever meet - she met us on arrival, helped us book restaurants and even provided a supply a fresh coffee and a bottle of wine in the fridge! We highly recommend staying here and hope to return.

Bettina is a very warm, welcoming and incredibly helpful host. She was able to recommend plenty of places to eat and things to do. She was more than willing to book restaurants for us. The apartment is gorgeous. Light, nicely furnished and the bed is extremely comfortable. I think it is actually much better than it appears in the pictures. The location is perfect. Prinsengracht is a beautiful canel and most places are within walking distance of the apartment. We would definitely come back again and would certainly recommend Bettina's house to our friends.

Hello, I am Bettina.
Thank you that you are interested in my apartment.
Let me tell you something about myself.
I am a fashion designer, specialist in men's cloth.
Because of my work, I travel a lot and I am very lucky to meet so many different people from all over the world which I like very much.
That is one of the reasons I like to work with Airbnb.

I like to go to the movies, theater, exhibitions and antique/vintage markets.
Dancing is my passion, specially classical ballet.
I dance since I was six years old and I still dance ballet.

My husband and I like good food, so we are going out many times to eat and test restaurants. If you want to, we can advise you where to eat and if you wish, we can also make reservations for you.
I was born and raised in Amsterdam and know this beautiful city by heart.
So I can help you to find your way in Amsterdam and make your stay unforgettable.
