A warm welcome awaits at Manor Hill. Please note my 'LOCATION' is Ballincollig, which is 9KMS (approx) from Cork City. It is next to the bus stop which goes into city every 30 mins & at a cost of approx 6.50 euro return (220/220x bus). Some guests get this wrong and presume my location is Cork city - so consider before booking!! Help yourself to a light continental breakfast-bread, cereals, et
I can accommodate 1 persons (single bed) I also have another double room 'Gateway to West Cork' listing.
Guest are welcome to use the kitchen for making tea/coffee, light snacks - not for marathon cooking, as it is also for my private use (and not very large) and would get 'crowded'. You may use the kettle, microwave, the cooker is not available. In the interest of the other guest's comfort, the kitchen is closed after 8.30 p.m Washing can be arranged at a small cost (€3.00) You are welcome to dry the clothes on the line in the garden.. Relax in my large back garden with seating /deck.
Interaction with guests
I love to interact with guests; however, some guests like privacy, which I totally respect and afford.
Other things to note
Please treat my home like you would treat your own!
I am available to help you with suggestions as to places of interest to visit - I will gladly answer any questions regarding local tourist attractions.
To help everyone get a good night's sleep and an enjoyable stay, no noise after 11 p.m. would be appreciated.
We are a very quiet mature neighbourhood so no parties, loud music etc.

I am university graduate, originally from West Cork but now living on the outskirts of Cork ccity. I enjoy meeting new people from all walks of life. I used to run a holiday hostel many years ago and made many friends from all corners of the globe. My interests are dancing, cycling and scrabble -- and baking! I would be glad to direct you to the many wonderful sights of Cork City and areas. I look forward to meeting you. Elizabeth
