Frans User Profile

Hi, my name is Frans. Heather my partner and Maliq our 7 year old original wild boy have lived in Kenya since 2008. We have worked in a variety of humanitarian settings from Chechnya to Yemen, Somalia and points between. We bought our house in 2012 and have spent the time completely renovating it. Everything is new from the electrics to the plumbing! The walls are a beautiful cool Italian marbled plaster and we have used local materials and recycled glass throughout the space.

Late last year we started to split time between Diani and Yellowknife in the Canadian sub-arctic! At the request of many friends we decided to start letting other people enjoy our little piece of paradise in Africa - we hope that you enjoy it as much as we do.
