Isabelle's cottage is nestled in a beautiful part of Belgium. Our delayed arrival due to numerous traffic incidents elsewhere was no issue as a neighbour was on hand to let us in. The cottage itself was simple in design, but offered everything we needed for our large group to relax for the evening. The only issue to note would perhaps be that both sets of stairs are pretty steep, so be warned of that before you booked. Overall it was an excellent and good value overnight stay.

Response from Isabelle:
Hi Gary, I am happy you had a good time at Le Clos de Rosa. I am conscious about the steep stairs, especially the ones leading to the second floor, but believe me, this was the only solution to have stairs, and not a ladder :-) I usually recommend the studio on the second floor to young couples or teenagers. Thanks again for staying at my house and looking forward to welcoming you some other time.

We just wanted to stay for one night so Isabelle arranged that we could check in early and leave late the next day for a special price! This was so kind! The house is located beautifully near the town of Roche en Ardenne! Just a 10 minute drive. The house is cozy, has good bathrooms and many beds. We enjoyed cooking there and using the Big living room table to sit and relax with 10 people. Do mind that the house does not offer and linen and towels, which you usually do not have to bring yourself when you are renting an Airbnb.

Response from Isabelle:
Hello Reinald, I am happy you had a good time at Le Clos de Rosa and you enjoyed the region. As far as linen and towels are concerned, they are not usually provided for because this is not a usual request from guests and this is not very convenient for us to to provide them for, but they can be rented upon request if the guests don't have the possibility to bring them over (for example, if they are flying etc). There were cleaning materials in the house, but not in an easy place to find. We have moved them and put them under the kitchen sink, so that they can be easily reached.

Nice cottage, especially from outside! Unfortunately dirty, and too expensive!

We arrived late on a Friday evening. The house was ready to welcome us. All was clean and tidy. Exactly as on the pictures. Isabelle is a good host, very communicative and helpful.

The house was big and looked nice. The two-persons beds were really great. It was nicely decorated to give it a cozy atmosphere. We didn't like the finishing of the house however. For instance: the toilet seat upstairs was loose, some door furniture was loose, there was a curtain hanging in front of the toilet downstairs, the wooden staircases were not painted etc. The surroundings were great. It is a quiet neighbourhood with easy access to walking paths. Upon arrival we had some difficulties contacting the neighbour for the key to the house. Isabelle was however helpful on the phone.
