The Eco Dairy is located within the picturesque valley of Theresa Creek in northern NSW. It is the perfect space for those wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of modern life and reconnect with the simple things in life by spending some time in nature.

Enjoy breakfast on the front verandah while listening to the local birdsong. The Eco Dairy is a simple retreat yet has all the comforts of home. If you need a place to recharge the batteries then the Eco Dairy is the place for you!

Guests will have access to clean country air, birdsong in the early morning, dramatic sunsets and rainwater (heated) showers. In winter you can sit by the fireplace and enjoy a red wine and read a good book.
Our property borders the Cambridge Plateau which is World Heritage Listed rainforest. Make sure you take the time to do one of the walks - from the lookout you'll enjoy breathtaking views towards the east coast of northern NSW, capturing Mt Warning on a clear day.

Our time as a long weekend get away was well spent. The trip to the dairy was straightforward with the last couple of kilometres on none paved roads. We got a kick out of that as we knew it signalled we were off the beaten track, just what we were looking for. The accommodation exceeded our expectations and would have been more than suitable for a longer stay. Everything we needed was there. Laurence greeted us with home made bread, brownies and fresh farm eggs. All of which were gone by the following morning :). We went for a short walk in the afternoon up the hill before dusk and watched the stars slowly reveal themselves. There was just a sliver of moonlight so the night sky was carpeted in starlight. We woke up early the next day to the sounds of wildlife and the wind blowing through the trees. Fortified by billy tea and bacon and egg rolls (the farm ones), we headed out on a longer walk up through the property and into the national forest. It was a test as it was all uphill until the half way point. Needless to say it was a whole lot easier on the way back. We relished the outdoor shower room when we got back. The evening was spent playing the board games that came with the cabin whilst we ate the Kumquats fresh off the tree with dark chocolate and Glenfiddich whisky. The cabin is more like a small cottage and despite having no air conditioning is very comfortable as it captures the breezes. With all the fresh air and exercise, we slept soundly both nights. We made sure to visit Margaret and Laurence over at their beautiful home just a couple of minutes over the hill from the cabin before we left. They are very gracious hosts with a lot of interesting stories and knowledge of the local area. We would highly recommend Margaret and Laurence's place for a country getaway.

The Eco Dairy Cottage is the perfect place to unwind and switch off from the world. The rustic cottage is set on a peaceful rural property boarding the beautiful national park. The cottage encourages you to disconnect with no phone service or tv. Alternatively Margaret and Lawrence have a collection of books, puzzles and board games to amuse yourself of an evening by the fire. It was also lovely to be able to take our beloved dog on holiday. If you love nature and hiking this is also the perfect Place to stay. Plenty of wildlife and walking trails to explore. We will certainly be back for another visit.

If you want peace and quiet, you'll love the calm and stillness of this farm in Theresa Creek. The deck is relaxing, spacious and sunny and the inside is cute and cozy and clean. We loved the fire as we stayed in Winter. Margaret and Lawrence are very nice people and obviously take great pride in their accommodation and surrounding land. They are very welcoming but never invasive; their house is out of sight so the cottage is private too. They left us fresh eggs from their chickens and a home made slice which really perked us up after a long drive. The tap water is rainwater and the best we've drunk in such a long time. The toilet and shower are outside but the shower is strong and super hot! The walks around the farm are beautiful, as are the views and encounters with local wildlife/cows/kangaroos and their friendly dog! We will definitely stay here again, as it was a really great way to unwind from Gold Coast living and truly slow down. Enjoy it, we certainly did!!!

We had the most enjoyable and relaxing time at the cabin. A great location to get away and smell the fresh air as well as take in some of the region's farming heritage. Laurence and Margaret are very welcoming and have created an environment that makes you want to stay just a liitle bit longer.

Great spot. Had a great two nights away. Fireplace was awesome. The fruit trees and herbs at the back door where utilised in the kitchen. Great value for money.

Perfect if you want peace and tranquility. Friendly helpful hosts, lots of bird life, plus a horse and a dog. Quite a long way in from the main road but good directions were given.

We are an active couple who love living in our beautiful environment. We enjoy nature and all it has to offer.
Our goal in life is to be sustainable and we love tending to our garden where we grow our own vegetables including garlic and ginger, as well as fruit trees. We enjoy pickling and preserving our home grown fruit and vegetables, and we also make our own bread and have chooks (eggs) and cattle (beef) - all free range and living happy lives on our farm. Activities at the farm can include doing absolutely nothing - reading, relaxing, listening to the birdlife or one may feel like bushwalking or a 4 wheel drive guided tour to the bordering World Heritage Rainforest walks which can be arranged and your guide being your host Laurence.
Come and spend sometime at the farm, we are sure you will love the experience as much as we do.
