About this listing

The space

One of the most characteristic of Rome's traditional quarters, where you can still breathe the atmosphere of the Eternal City is Trastevere and it is here at the foot of the verdant Gianicolo hill that you can rent a sunny, peacefull and elegant flat: Casa in Trastevere n. 2. It is the ideal base for a week's holiday in Rome for you, your family and your friends.
Casa in Trastevere no. 2

In a peaceful lane barred by the Aurelian Walls and closed to traffic, you'll find a delightful apartment, former annex of the 17th century's Palazzo Moroni, finely restored with wooden ceilings and an independent entrance . The flat offers a large living room with two single sofa-beds, a double bedroom (if necessary the double bed can be divided in two single beds), a second bedroom with two single beds, a comfortable bathroom equipped with a large shower, a well equipped kitchen provided with cooker, oven, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Both bedrooms, overlooking a convent's garden, are very quiet.
Other utilities: color TV, autonomous heating, Internet service WIFI.

This is such an amazing quiet home and yet just around the corner are so many restaurants, bars and shops. The house was perfect for our family of 4 to stay and we would defiantly stay again when in Rome next time. Trastevere is a very special location, we loved it!

My parents and I loved our stay here in Rome. It was a well appointed modern space on a quiet street. It is within walking distance of all of the main attractions in Rome such as the Vatican, Spanish Steps, and Trevi Fountain. Comfortable beds, good shower, and great and friendly neighbours. You are one minute away from the lively streets and restaurants of Trastevere. Great food and gelato near by. Would recommend.

Great appartment! Very central nice area to stay. We stayed there for one week with a family (3kids, teenagers) en we had a great time. The area is very nice. The street where the appartment is located is very quiet, good beds, kitchen with enough utilities, nice shower. All very comfortable. Martha arranged the taxi when we arrived, very nice. We walked al lot (st. Pieter, colloseum, spanish steps, trevi). communication with Martha was oke! Thanks for all Martha, we hope to come back!

Situated on a quiet, dead end street in the heart of vibrant Trastevere, Marta's house is the perfect location for staying in Rome. Marta met us at her place. She was lovely and gave us lots of helpful suggestions. The place is quite compact, but the four of us got by fine. The shower was hot and powerful. When we found the drain was clogged, Marta came and cleared it while we were out. The shower could of been cleaner and I did mention it to her after I cleaned it and she rightly said I should have let her know before I did, as she would have brought the cleaner in to do it. I just wanted it done and it only took me a few minutes. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again next time we're in Rome.
