Nestled in a natural paradise, on the Mancos River with a natural pond, you will have the opportunity to watch elk, deer, eagles, hawks, blue heron, ducks, song birds, fox and other wildlife on this beautiful natural preserve, all within view of the stunning Mesa Verde. Be prepared to relax and enjoy yourselves in beautiful Mancos. There is a cozy kitchen, perfect for preparing your own gourmet meal, and a very comfortable Murphy bed to crash into at the end of a full day of adventures!

The space
This location has a beautiful view of Mesa Verde, and stunning views of the La Plata Mountains. It truly is a natural paradise. The property is known for bird watching, wildlife sightings, exploring, and relaxing, which are all just a step outside your door.

Guest access
The house sits on the Mancos River, and there is a natural pond next to house, perfect for swimming. No fishing without permission is allowed. Downtown Mancos is just a hop, skip and a jump away. There is a Brewery, an Artisan’s Co-Op, a couple of fantastic restaurants and a wonderful health food store. The Mesa Verde Visitor’s Center is about 10 minutes away. There is also close proximity to world class biking at Phil’s World in Cortez. Telluride is an hour and a half away, with world-class skiing.
