Set in the heart of the Binevenagh AONB, overlooking two spring-fed fishing lakes, Hazel Cave offers the perfect escape from everyday life for families and couples alike.

Our living space offers a truly distinctive stay in Northern Ireland. Ideally situated on the Causeway Coastal Route, it’s close to iconic attractions like the Giant’s Causeway, Bushmills Distillery, Benone Beach, Mussenden Temple, Hezlett House, and Roe Valley Country Park.

The space
Hazel Cave and the surrounding grounds were built over the course of three years, with great care taken to ensure the living space and its surroundings blend seamlessly into the landscape.

The room itself is subterranean, featuring a large glass front that overlooks one of the lakes. Inside, you'll find everything you need for a comfortable and memorable stay. Just outside your room, there is a private fire-pit and a retractable cover, allowing you to enjoy it year-round.

We also offer a shared hot tub, which can be reserved for private use by booking a time slot upon arrival.

Guest access
We encourage all our guests to explore the grounds freely, with no restrictions on where you can go. Take advantage of the beautiful forest walks with direct access to Binevenagh Mountain, or drive to our viewing point for a stunning view of the sunset behind behind the Donegal hills.

Other things to note
Hazel Cave is located near two sister properties in the same area. We kindly ask that after 10 p.m., guests be mindful of noise levels in the shared outdoor areas to ensure everyone can have a relaxing stay.
