Beautifully decorated rustic bungalow nested in a quiet location 20 minutes drive from downtown Oaxaca. In this peaceful location you will be able to enjoy spectacular views while finding everything you need within walking distance: local restaurants, nature hikes and abarrotes. Our bungalow is the perfect place for those seeking to spend a few days in the Oaxaca Valley, getting to know all the beautiful pueblos while staying away from tourist crowds.

The space
The bungalow has a very comfortable living room where you can sit and enjoy the scenic view of Oaxaca's Sierra. There is a dinning room for four people as well as a fully equipped kitchen. The bedroom has a queen bed and a very spacious closet.

Where you’ll be

San Andrés Huayápam, Oaxaca, Mexico

San Andres Huayapam still maintains it's town atmosphere with locals selling baked goods and vegetables grown in their own backyard in the street. You will be in an authentic Oaxacan pueblo and still an easy car ride from the main attractions downtown Oaxaca has to offer. We are very close from the highway that takes you to Mitla and Hierve el Agua.
The superb rural atmosphere we enjoy includes farm animals occasionally being heard at dawn or dusk.
Huayapam is a small town and the few restaurants available close around 6:00pm. So if you are checking in after this, please pick up dinner on your way to town. You can still find a few stores open until 10:00pm to get water, snacks and the basics.

Our family loves to travel and meet new friends. We fell in love with Oaxaca 5 years ago and built our dreamed home here. We enjoy spending time outside, hiking and wondering the many sierras that surround Oaxaca. We are also passionate amateur chefs and love the mercado days!
