Ideal location very close to the beach. Sheltered roof terrace was a bonus as the beach was quite windy in September. Alot of light switches were broken, bulbs had gone, umbrella on roof terrace did not work but we were told about these when met with the host. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet and peaceful holiday

We stayed in Pedro's house for 5 nights, with our 3 year old and 9 month old. This is a good place for a family to stay and the roof terrace is great, good place to hang out when the kids have gone to bed too! The beach is one minute walk and the little fruit and veg market around the corner is perfect! We found manta Rota to be quiet place, you are mixing with the locals. This was perfect for us with the children. Fatima, who did the check in and out, was very nice and accommodated our late arrival. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a quiet holiday by the beach!

Lovely villa very close to the beach, supermarket and restaurants whilst still being quite and tucked away. Perfect spot for anyone looking for a relaxing break.

We absolutely loved our stay at Pedro's beach house. The photos don't quite do it justice! The house was beautifully clean and stocked with everything you could possibly need. The highlight was BBQS on the roof terrace. Pedro was a fantastic host with clear and easy communication.Fatima who welcomed us was also brilliant and made our stay literally as easy as home from home. Manta Rota is also utterly beautiful and the beach house is literally a 2 minute walk from the beach. So ideally situated in this sweet seaside village. Easy place to explore from too. Just WONDERFUL! Hugely recommend staying here and we will definitely be back. Thanks Pedro! Lucy and Kevin xx

It was a really nice house, with a ground floor courtyard space and a terrace with a bbq and outside seating on the first floor. The house was nicely decorated and the kitchen well equipped. There is a beautiful beach a few minutes walk from the house and a great restaurant just on the left of the wooden walkway to the beach, plus a good food market at the end of the road. We stayed with our child and found it easy to wash clothing and have family meals at the house. It's a very pretty house in a good location.

Perfect beach house for 4 people, can very much recommend. Don't expect luxury, it's more like a family home and you may have to buy basic things like toilet paper yourself. We had a great time anyway. It's so close to the beach and has two awesome terraces and a BBQ place.

The house is much nicer than on the photos. The person representing the owner was nice and helpful. The beach is just fantastic. It's 200m from the house. Food markets are round the corner on the main street. The place where the house is is really quite at night. Manta Rota is lively enough, but is not a place for intense nightlife lovers. A restaurant on the beach named "Cha con agua salgada" is a must. A lively place which can easily be missed in Manta Rota is at Urbanizacao Orlamar street (bars, cafes, pizzerias, pool and game rooms concentrated on a nice and enclosed round square).
