The apartment is very well located, in a silent area and yet so close to walk to the beach, restaurants and nightlife. It has a beautiful view of the ocean and it offers comfort and a lot of space for a great value! In all our communications, Alonso was very helpful, very attentive, and very fast in his responses. I am very thankful to Alonso and I really recommend his place!

Amazing view from the balcony. Be ready to admire the sunsets over the ocean every day, not to mention your very own firework show at 2130 every night!. Perfect location for a traveler wanting to live near the locals and be amazingly close to the attractions. I stayed here for 7 weeks, the apartment has everything you will need. It is quant with open windows in the wall for a nice breeze and plenty of ceiling fans. Jaime the apartment manager is very quick to respond on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) and is at the complex most everyday to tend to needs. I felt very safe staying here. The apartment is very open and spacious, however organization and storage can be tough as there are limited hangers and no dressers.  Great Internet speed, I was able to bring my AmazonFire Stick and plug it into the TV for English shows, however if you speak Spanish cable is provided.  The locals can be a tad noisy at night as with the dogs and roosters into the early morning but nothing earplugs can’t solve. You will read reviews about the walk up the hill. This is not to be ignored. Taxi’s will not even attempt to drive  up the winding cobble stone incline. As an active person myself I accepted the challenge and ended up enjoying it, however I had to make a conscious decision on what to bring back from the grocery store each time, and I could hear many of the other tenants struggling. The walk down is a straight 10 minute walk to the center of the Malecon. All in all I had a relaxing comfortable stay here and would do it again. Thank you Alonso and Jaime

The house is a typical apartment in mexico, reasonably clean and convenient for walking to the bars/the beach. You might even be able to find parking for your rental car nearby; though it would always be a hit or a miss given it's an old town with boulder paved roads and Spanish style old narrow streets. I wouldn't recommend renting a car though because all the rental companies in pVR are crooks and they lie their way into signing you up for even just the liability coverage which would be two times the price of the rental car, and for using your card in lieu of CDW they would run an authorization for 105000 peso ($5000!!!), which is worse than any third world country conditions wise. The apartment itself is pretty clean, but what you would probably find surprising is this is your first time going to Mexico, is that there are see-through tiles for ventilation in the walls, which makes it feel like you are always outside as you can hear everything. Surprisingly there were no insects, they probably spray the insecticide pretty well, which is good. The bathroom in the apartment was made by somebody who had no dimensions planned prior to building it, which resulted in having no separation of the shower part with the rest of the bathroom, even though it looks like they originally planned for it given the rail for shower curtain without the curtain itself. Every time you take a shower water will be all over the floor so I would recommend bringing flip flops for shower. The toilet is prehistoric and if you are planning to flush it, be prepared to do it several times with an interval of 10 min because 1 . it doesn't flush properly 2. It fils up the tank veeery slowly. The kitchen is fine, but supplies are cheap and minimal, we had to buy a skillet from Walmart to make breakfast. Also, some old lady, possibly a cleaning staff walked in while we were absent, and rushed out once we came in; and when asked the manager who that was, he told is it was probably a ghost! Haha. The ghost didn't do any cleaning though, but on the upside didn't take anything with her either. The idea of privacy wasn't on that ghost lady's mind for sure! Overall the apartment is good value, and if you don't mind staying in a place with no AC you would probably like it! It's definitely different though if you always stayed in airbnb places in Spain and Italy before.

Spacious place, big enough for a whole family with TWO decks with great views, AND a view of the water from one of the bedrooms. Very clean, somewhat sparsely-furnished (for its giant size) but includes everything you could need for cooking including appliances, wine opener, etc. The oven gas had been shut off but Alonso's assistant was immediately on the case. Overhead fans everywhere they're needed. Not sure why other reviews say this place is so "basic" - it has everything an AirBnB usually offers, including toilet paper, towels, hand and dish soap, etc. Only potential problem is that it's a bit of a hike up the hill, but still less than 10 min. walking from the beach and there's a little store at the end of the street. The street isn't touristic, so you'll see families, dogs, etc. when entering/exiting. Quiet, too.

Alonso's place is great, and an awesome value for Puerto Vallarta! It had everything we needed for a pleasant stay, and has a large private terrace with a lovely view over the bay. The neighborhood is quiet and is very convenient to the Centro and walkable to other parts of Puerto Vallarta (Zona Romántica and Playa Los Muertos).

Amazing view of the bay from my apartment. The rooms are spacious , open and you hace industrial ceiling fans if you would like the bedrooms cool. This is centrally located close to everything and up the hill so you do not here the sound of the bars and clubs. A bargain for the price.
