Stay in this beautiful old Irish cottage in the Irish countryside.
The house features 3 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, living area with spectacular views of surrounding countryside, solid fuel stove, large back yard.

I grew up down the road from this cottage, having regularly visited the couple that lived there throughout my youth. I had always wanted to renovate an old irish cottage and breath new life into it and when it came up for sale last year I jumped at the chance.

Secluded yet within easy driving distance of Cork City, Killarney, Ring of Kerry and Wild Atlantic Way. House has been renovated to a good standard and very comfortable. Communication with Patrick was excellent. We stayed for seven nights and each evening we saw either a pheasant or a bunny in the back yard. Fuschia abounds in this part of Ireland. Recommended.

Patrick's cottage is secluded, cosy & immaculate with great views over the distant hills. Lovely touch with welcome pack. We didn't meet Patrick but all communication was excellent. Would deferentially recommend.

Enjoyed walking the wonderful lane of wildflowers down to the river, and the cottage was very comfortable.

Patricks cottage provides the perfect rural vacation. He was a great host to communicate with and the cottage is beautiful, very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The shops in Kanturk aren't a long drive away and it was a great base to come back to after visiting cork, the blarney castle and even a day driving around the ring of kerry. Would go back again in a heartbeat. Thanks Patrick!

House was immaculate. Secluded with views for relaxation, but easily accessible for our day trips: Blarney Castle, Donkey Sanctuary, and Cork.

Patrick's little cottage is stunning - the pics on the listing are great, but seriously do not give this little retreat justice. You can't capture the sounds and wonderful atmosphere of this little place. On arrival the house was spotless, inviting and a home from home. Although I didn't meet Patrick, his communication was great. Good location and easy enough to get to shops and local pubs. A must visit.

I had always wanted to renovate an old irish cottage and breath new life into it and when it came up for sale last year I jumped at the chance. Personal circumstances mean I am not in a position to live there right now and experience it but maybe someday. In the meantime I hope you will enjoy your stay.
