We had a really wonderful (EMAIL HIDDEN)munication with Eugenie and then with her neighbour Sabine was very easy, and when we arrived Sabine showed us everything we needed to know. The appartment, which is the upper floor of Casa Lucia, is really lovely - decorated in a simple but attractive way, and with everything you need. Very comfy mattress, and plenty of towels etc, and the kitchen is very well equipped. The best thing is sitting out on the terrace in the sun. Thank you for a great stay!

Wow! Where do I begin???? Eugenie's home was just beautiful and has the most amazing views from the terrace. We were greeted with a lovely bottle of La Palma wine which went down a treat! The kitchen was very well-equipped, she provided many towels for us (including beach towels) and she even had the most incredible collection of jazz cd's which my boyfriend and I enjoyed listening to on her soundsystem every night. We never met Eugenie, but her neighbour Sabine took very good care of us and even arranged our airport transfers by her lovely daughter Jenny and friend Irene for just 30 euros each way as we weren't driving. Sabine also wrote down the bus schedule for us to get around La Palma and even gave us some delicious organic mangos from her garden as a leaving gift! Her sweet neighbour Anna also gave us some of her oranges and bananas from her garden as we were leaving. They really made us feel at home and made our stay extra special!!! We were worried about not being able to drive in La Palma, but the bus service is very good and very reliable. The location of Eugenie's home was perfect! A 5 min walk to the bus stop that took us to Tazacorte beach as well as the vibrant Los Llanos. The house is also just a 5 minute walk from 2 supermarkets and a bar. We only had a short stay, but we were so happy staying at Eugenie's and we didn't want to leave in the end. I would strongly recommend staying at Eugenie's and I am certain we will visit again in the near future!

I had a wonderful time here, and highly recommend this place. Here are some things I really liked : * the house is well furnished and tastefully decorated * the large balcony has a great view of the ocean (perfect for sunsets) * a coop food market, cafe, and bar are all a few minutes away by foot * the area (la Punta, Tijarafe) is a beautiful part of La Palma, with fewer tourists than other parts of the island and lots of natural beauty Look forward to one day staying here again :)

Lovely, small apartment. Beautiful view and fairly close to Puerto de Tazacorte. Nice kitchen, living room, terrace and bedroom. We had a great stay. The fold out bed is not recommendable for grown-ups and longer stays.

We enjoyed our stay in La Punta. Comfortable house with all the essentials available. All was arranged well. It is a good place to start from for trips around the island. The balcony is great to sit out and it was good to have a supermarket nearby.

The most wonderful place of the house is terrace. I recommend to have a breakfast there hearing birds songs. In the evening if there is no clouds one can see amazing stars view in the sky. All other rooms are also good. The bathroom is rather tiny at first glance but then you can accustomed to. The way to Casa Lucia lies through curvy roads. I recommend to choose to go through Tasacorte. This route is not so stressful and goes near beautiful beaches and the city. Unfortunately we didn't manage to become friends with the dog Rockie from the neighborhood. Every time he saw us he bayed like a crazy and didn't give us a way to Casa Lucia. To be hones it was the most unpleasant moments for me there. In general if you want to live like a natural citizen of village in La Palma, not a tourist, La Punta and Casa Lucia is a good choice.

We stayed in Casa Lucia II for one week at the end of March/beginning of April. We absolutely loved it! The place is pretty comfortable and has a lot of character. The best feature by far is the outside terrace and the spectacular views at the ocean and surrounding landscape. We spent a lot of time there, having breakfast, lunch and dinner, sunbathing and watching the sun set. Instant happiness guaranteed! The apartment itself is as shown in the pictures. The bathroom is quite small, as is the bed in the bedroom, but this wasn't really a problem for us. The kitchen is spacious, with a big fridge and a good oven. The apartment is surrounded by a nice garden. Communication with Eugenie via e-mail was quick and easy. We were welcomed by neighbour Sabine and her parents. There is a good supermarket closeby (2 minutes walking). All in all: highly recommended!
