Lonny and Andy were fantastic hosts. The room was comfortable, clean, cool and well furnished. Lonny was always there to help and despite a very hectic weekend for me and my partner he accommodated us very openly and willingly. His dogs are adorable and the breakfast was wonderful and healthy. Definitely recommend!

I had a wonderful experience staying at Lonny and Andy's. I was in town for a conference, so I was out the door to head downtown early each morning. Coffee and breakfast items were always prepared and available, and the house was a short walk from the public transit station where I took a 10 minute ride to downtown and my destination. My room was exactly as pictured, airy and clean with lovely windows. The bed was comfy. I would recommend this airbnb to anyone visiting Minneapolis!

Lonny and Andy's place was beautiful and comfortable! They were excellent hosts and provided excellent restaurant recommendations, stimulating conversation, and excellent amenities. We could have asked for a better place to stay while in MSP for the weekend!

I love everything about Lonny and Andy's: their hospitality and helpfulness, their beautiful historic house with bright cheery designer kitchen, the comfortable bed and pleasant bedroom, their two tiny dogs, and more.

Lonny and Andy's continues to be our favorite airbnb. Great hosts, lovely/clean craftsman home, great breakfast, great location, two non annoying small dogs ( I am NOT a dog person but I like them! ). Four years using airbnb in four states and they remain at the top of our list.

Lonny(left): Andy and I moved to the Central Neighborhood in 2000 because of the great architecture, location and close proximity to parks, lakes and greenway cycling paths. We completely renovated the property and have hosted lots of visitors over the last 12 years. As Airbnb hosts, we look forward to meeing new people, and sharing what we love about Minneapolis. I am Personal Performance Coach and part time glass artist and painter. There are lots of examples of my work through our home as well as the work of other artists, Altman, Peter Max, Rutter and variety of painters, potters and glass artists.

We have 2 small, non shedding dogs; a Westie and a Yorkie Schnauzer mix. They are great fun and will be happy to see you as well as welcoming your dog if you are traveling with one.

We are located on Park Ave. 4 blocks from Powderhorn Park, the Swedish Institute, and less than 1 mile from Minneapolis Institute of Art. The Guthrie Theater, Warehouse District and downtown and Uptown are all within 5-10 mins. drive or a short bike ride. The bike lane runs in front of our house and the Greenway is 2 blocks away.

We are also happy to put you in touch with previous house guests so you can get a first hand experience of being a guest here. Its one thing coming from me, another coming from our guests. There have been many. I have traveled extensively for the last 20 years and know how important having comfortable accomodations can be. We will go out of our way to make you feel right at home. We regularly exceed Airbnb standards by receiving 5 star ratings 95% of the time and go out of our way to meet or exceed your expectations.
