Fully refurbished- detached- well equipped-traditional highland cottage. Situated 2 miles east of Roy Bridge, 12 miles from Fort William - Outdoor Capital UK. Excellent location for exploring the Highlands and Islands, 1 hour from Aviemore, Loch Ness and Glencoe, 2 hours from the Isle of Skye. Great for hillwalking, mountain biking, skiing and kayaking as it is close to Ben Nevis and many Munros, Nevis Range Ski/Biking area and Wolftrax.

The space
Our house has oil heating and a wood burning stove in both sitting rooms with wood provided. It has off road parking for 3 vehicles. Safe storage for bikes, skis and equipment. Fully equipped kitchen with range cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. There are 2 cosy sitting rooms with comfy seating and log burners. The 3 bedrooms comprise one king size and 2 twin rooms. There is a double sofa bed in downstairs sitting room if required and if guests have difficulty climbing stairs. One shower room downstairs and one upstairs. Bed linen and towels provided. Games and books provided.

Our cottage is situated above Monessie Gorge and the West Highland Rail Line. Several trains pass each day between Glasgow and Mallaig which has been voted one of the best rail journeys world wide. The Jacobite Steam Train of Harry Potter fame travels between Fort William and Mallaig April to October crossing the iconic Glennfinnan viaduct with its views of Loch Shiel and theJacobite Monument. Roy Bridge is known for the Parallel Roads of Glen Roy and the last inter clan Battle of Mulroy. Nearby Spean Bridge has the Commando Memorial with its spectacular views of the surrounding hills.
