The neighbourhood is a calm little village. Cafes, and a bar are within walking distance from the accommodation, as well as a boat ramp, jetty, galleries and a historical walk. Daintree township also provides boat touring operations including early morning bird watching, crocodile cruises, sunset cruises and fishing charters. Fine dining, therapeutic massage and a spa are within a 5 minute drive. Also the amazingTranquility falls is a 15 min drive into the country and a beautiful easy walk where you will be able to have a swim in the crystal clear waters.
The famous World Heritage national park is only a 10 min drive where you will come to the Daintree River Car ferry ( free return ferry pass for my guests). It’s a 37km scenic drive up the the famous Cape Tribulation.
Mossman gorge is only a 25 min drive, and Port Douglas is not far from there.
Or simply relax on the verandah taking in the sounds of the birds enjoying the peace and quiet.
