This classic, large Cape Cod house is just perfect for friends or a family reunion.
The beautiful Thumpertown Beach is 0.3 miles or a 5-10 min slow stroll down the street. The house is large enough to accommodate everyone comfortably and has a convenient layout that also provides plenty of privacy. There is central A/C that covers the entire house, all rooms have hardwood floors, newer beds, comfortable mattresses and quality pillows. New 18x24 deck has Polywood furniture and Weber gas grill.
The space
The house is 2350 sq ft and offers plenty of space and convenience:
6 bedrooms (4 queens, 2 double twins, one baby crib, one folding twin bed and one pull out couch), 3 newly renovated bathrooms with marble tiles and all high-end finishes, new fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, Keurig and drip coffee makers.
The dining table seats 10 comfortably, and it can be extended to fit 2-4 more. The kitchen island can seat 3 more people.
In the 1200 sq ft basement (not finished and not included in 2350 sq ft) we have a game room with relaxing couches, flat screen Roku Smart UHD TV, Wii gaming console, air hockey table, foosball table, ping pong table, dart, board games and more. Plenty of space to socialize and have fun!
The house consists of two parts that are connected through the family room on the second floor. This is ideal setup if you want to get together, but want your privacy for some time.
Part one, the front of the house has a spacious family room with TV, fireplace and a quiet office area. For all your devices and working needs, there is high-speed mesh Wi-Fi internet access in the entire house.
There are two bedrooms in that part of the house: bedroom 1 (queen) and bedroom 2 (twin+twin). There’s also a new full bathroom with double vanity and tub.
Set of stairs will bring you to a large common area upstairs that has a lounge TV area plus a playroom for the little ones with toys, books, play kitchen and more. There’s also a queen bedroom with pull out couch on the second floor. From that area you can access bathroom two and the basement/game room/laundry area.
Another set of stairs is leading to the second part of the house that has kitchen, dining area, three more bedrooms (queen, queen, twin + twin) and access to the deck.
Cleaning, bedsheets and towels are included and provided by the Sister's Maid, a local professional cleaning company with great reputation. All pillows, blankets and mattress covers are of good quality and regularly updated. Each bed has quality mattress and soft or firm pillow to choose from.
Outdoors, you will find a large new deck with tables and chairs, seating for 12, a Weber Genesis gas grill, firepit, and a hot/cold outdoor shower (perfect after a day at the beach!). We have beach chairs, beach cart, umbrella, some sand toys and outdoor games such a volleyball and corn holes.
In addition to the nearby Thumpertown Beach with its warm bayside swimming and low tide miles of walking on the flats, you have restaurants, ice cream & general stores within a few minutes driving distance. Freshwater swimming and the playground at Wiley Park is less than a mile away and it's just a five-minute drive to the national seashore with ocean waves and huge dunes. Also in the areas, you will find cape cod rail trail to bike to Provincetown, Audubon sanctuary with great trails, the always popular Wellfleet drive-in theater, museums, historical site seeing, art galleries, antique stores and much more.
Note that the house is only connected on the second floor, and you will need to use stairs to get from the front two bedrooms and living room to the rear side with the kitchen and dining area. The rear side also has 3 bedrooms and a bathroom, so this is a great area to stay for those that have reduced mobility.

Please note that we rent Sat-Sat in July and August. (Due to a feature removal by Airbnb, we can no longer restrict bookings to Sat-Sat only, so if you don't do Sat-Sat, be prepared to update the booking.)
