The house is close to the famous U street corridor with restaurants and bars nearby. It is one of the older homes in the neighborhood.

The space
It is one of the biggest and comfortable Airbnb rooms with street views from the second floor.

This is a charming, old-fashioned home with historic character and quirks that give it unique appeal. While we strive to maintain it lovingly, some fixtures and fittings may show signs of age or require occasional adjustments.

Please do not open the window next to the microwave (hard to open/close; repair pending). The window has been sealed with a silver lining to minimize breeze. Only open windows which are easy to open and close.

Heating & Cooling: Central heating/air-conditioning is available throughout the house.

Your room includes:
🔹 A portable heater (stored in the room). Press on/and off via the portable heater. Remember to unplug after use.

Guest access
All guests have access to their own TV, Microwave and Fridge in their bedrooms. Each room has access to a shared bathroom on the same floor. There are grocery shops and cafes within walking distance to the house.

All rooms are accessible via stairs only. All rooms have sufficient space for luggage to be stored inside the guests own rooms.

Please note: The Kitchen downstairs is for family use and permanent tenants only. Kitchen use is restricted to long term stays (two weeks or more).
