Couple, family, friends : Bedroom and Living room closed separated by entrance, independant bathroom and kitchen. 100% quiet, sunny, you can rest with open windows overlooking trees. Save time and tiredness living in a lively & secure area (famous Marché de Lévis and Parc Monceau, restaurants) out off touristic crowds but 15 mns from any touristic place (with direct metro and buses) and from Gare du Nord (airports and Eurostar station). Children and baby friendly.

The space

Nice during the summer : my flat is 100% quiet and sunny, on the 4th floor with nice views on Parisian roofs. Overlooking a large courtyard with trees allows you to rest with open windows (sun and fresh air). The windows don't overlook the street (Parisian streets are often hot and noisy during the summer).
My flat is spatious (45m2) and has been fully renovated in 2015-2016 in the respect of the architecture of Belle époque - 1 century ago ( wooden floors, large windows...).

The flat is convenient for a family or friends. The apartment's plan allows privacy : the bedroom is separated from the living room by the entrance. Both with doors. Separated kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. Large bathroom : you can take a shower or relax in a bath.
No elevator, the stairs are easy to climb but avoid large and heavy suitcases if difficult for you to carry them in the stairs.

Guest access

You can use everything in the apartment. Large TV is brand new with home cinema. There's a stack of French magazines and a lot of Guides next to the sofa. Breakfast (coffee, chocolate, sugar, tea...) and cooking (oil, vinegar, salt...) products are included so you don't have to shop for it when you arrive.
Sheets, duvet covers, towels are provided. As well as a lot of guides and magazines related to Paris.
Children are welcome : according to their age, we can provide books, coloring and games.

Interaction with guests

We accept late arrivals and try to be flexible, please ask : if the apartment is available, we will allow you to get in in the morning, and to leave late in the afternoon. If your arrival hours don't match with us, we will leave the keys for you in the building.
I prepare my apartment as I would do for friends or family, and I expect you to do the same when you leave.

Other things to note

Convenient for single, one or two couples, friends or family.
Children friendly. They will like shopping or eating in the food market, playing in the Parc Monceau. The area is lively with a lot of families and children. Metro is not far et can take you easily and quickly to all the touristic spots in Paris. Lévis street's specialty is children's stores : there you can find good quality at affordable prices (shoes, clothing, books, games...).

Wireless Internet

The apartment is very well located, in a very residential area of Paris, with all the conveniences you need close by. Aurelien was nice about having a cot ready and there were a few toys and books. The apartment itself is a typical Parisian place. Although it is quiet from street noise, it's not quiet from internal building noise - you can clearly hear into other people's flats and movement within the building. The apartment was not clean at all upon arrival: there were crumbs everywhere, sticky kitchen surfaces and cabinet handles, dust everywhere and the sink and bath looked dirty as well. (In fact, the picture of the bathroom on the website makes it look fairly new... in reality the bath/shower needs urgent deep cleaning.) It should be made clear that "breakfast ingredients" and not "breakfast" is what's included. This includes coffee, tea, sugar and some left over expired yogurt that the host left and two pieces of wonder bread - definitely not what the picture of breakfast portrays in the website picture. There was also some oatmeal but we didn't feel like cooking in the pans provided. Overall, we had a nice stay, but we felt that the flat was not prepared carefully for our arrival.

Response from Aurelien:
Disapointed : Trinidad asked me to keep the flat for her but she did the booking and paid on Airbnb at the last mn (arriving at 1 PM, booking after at 9 PM), I shouldn't have accepted. The lady in charge of cleaning couldn't come. I gave a discount on the price, early check in, late check out. Surprised : I live there and I can hardly hear the old lady upstairs walking on the wooden floor and vacuuming from time to time. For breakfast products I am afraid Trini didn't open the cupboard with jam, honey, musli.... It is easy to check that my price is low for the area, the size (45 m2), the period (Pentecôte week end) and including brakfast products. I like to share my flat at affordable price and not to charge for cleaning as most owners do. of course I prepared the cot for free and I didn't charge for the child. First time I meet this kind of guest who ask a lot and give little. Disapointed.

We had a lovely week in this apartment, everything we needed for a family break. Very well situated apartment, handy for local market stalls and shops. Metro stops just a few minutes walk.

We enjoyed our stay in Paris, the place was as described. Close to metro and shops (Aux Merveilleux de Fred for delicious pastries and meringue). The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, the bathroom and toilet were clean and nice, the living area had a large table and sofa we enjoyed, and the bedroom was ok. The curtains in the bedroom were slightly hanging off the rod, and the carpet didn't seem very clean, but the bed was comfortable. It was a little short for my husband and I (5'9" and 6'3") but we slept fine. Also we didn't expect to hear as much noise from our neighbors, but it was fine for us since we were up late anyway.

Perfect location! We stayed here with our two year old son and it was just perfect! Restaurants and shops just below the apartment, 5-10 mins walk to the Villers Metro.. was easily accessible to all major tourist attractions in Paris. When we return to Paris, we would definitely be using this air BnB property again! The host was friendly and communicated really well. Even letting us stay longer then check our as we have a late flight! Very lovely! Thanks again!

We had a lovely time at Aurelien's apartment, it was spacious, super well-equipped, decorated with taste, quiet even though right at the center of the chic neighborhood of les Batignolles. I definitely recommend this listing!
