Great check-in experience

Refurbished cozy little camper on a shared 5.5 acres piece of land surrounded by local farms. Access to fire pit, 1/2 acre pond with boat, clean port-o-potty, potable drinking water, outdoor shower and secluded fire pit bathtub. Farm stands nearby for fresh eggs, vegetables, etc. The camper and campfire (easily sits chairs 6ft apart)) are about 25 yards from our cabin so it is brilliantly, naturally situated for covid-related safety.

The space
We have a little off-grid cabin on the property and you'll be just across the way from your hosts and our 2 cats. There is no electricity in the camper. There is NO refrigerator in the camper but we provide a cooler. All lighting is battery operated. There is also a battery-operated fan. Let us know if you need to charge up your laptop or tablet and we can do so in our cabin. We are approximately half-way between hoppin' Hudson and historic Rhinebeck (15 mins from Rhinecliff train station) and about a 20 min. drive from downtown Kingston and its historic Rondout waterfront.

We are 5 mins from Bard College which has phenomenal shows all summer both in its intimate Spiegeltent and the glorious Frank Gehry-designed theater on campus.

The tiny hamlet of Tivoli is also 5 mins down the road. The main drag is only about a quarter of a mile long but still has lovely spots for breakfast, a general store, ice cream shop, bar, a bit of boutique shopping and several options for dining. The notable Hudson River sunset is just another 5 mins. past Tivoli.

If the cost of a B&B during the summer season makes a weekend getaway seem out of reach and you don’t have camping gear but you do have a playful sense of adventure and an affection for ‘affordable glamour’, I’m pretty sure this is the place for you.

**If you are traveling with a dog please be aware that there are cats on the premises.**

We also have a Pond-Side Paradise in Tivoli mini cabin listing (find that on our profile page) if you want to have other friends or family book during the same dates.

If you could post your photos and tag @tivolicamper we would really appreciate it!

Where you’ll be

Tivoli, New York, United States

This is small family farm country. The food grown up here serves the surrounding community as well as NYC. And because of Bard college and the short two hour drive from the city, it’s chock full of art and music events. It’s the best of both worlds. We love it up here.

During your stay

We will be on the property and you would likely see us at some point of every day. We are both artists and performers, travel a lot and love meeting people. We spend lots of nights around the fire but are also pretty busy and don't get our feathers ruffled at all if a little more privacy and space is what you're after. Our cat might visit you at the camper.
