Beautiful house with a great view of the sea and fantastic sunsets. Lots of mosquitos so bring bug spray. A few houses overlooking the back of the house but otherwise remote. There are quite a few buses per day into Lipari centre, the buses are quite reliable. On arrival we were given a short tour of where to find the cash machine and the local supermarket.

Extraordinary views - just like the pictures (if not better) accompanied by delicious sunsets. Me and my partner found House Particular a great base to explore Lipari and the Aeolian islands, even without a car or scooters (which would have definitely made getting 'round the island much easier, but sadly wasn't an option for us) It is located close enough to the local bus service to/from town, but a small supermarket and a few superb restaurants are only a stone's throw away just at Pianoconte. We had a few excellent take-away pizzas and dined at Marisa's (must try their desserts!). Alfredo picked us up from the port, before which we equipped ourselves with food and wine from a nearby supermarket at the harbour and primarily self catered; then kindly dropped us back to the port at the end of our trip. Good to check with the host if you need to pick up any extra coffee, water, oil or coal (only some of which was provided). Upon Alfredon’s recommendation we walked to the gorgeous beach. It's a steep climb, but it was totally worth it! We went quite a few times. The location is very quiet and secluded, the water is crystal clear and the pebbled beach is an unusual palette of purples, blues and reds. The house itself is beautiful, super clean and well equipped. The outdoor shower is a great treat in the morning! Alfredo was very easy to communicate to and helped us with anything we needed (including getting lost on our way to the beach for the first time!). As well as transferring us from the port and back he have us plenty of tips and recommendations. Thank you Alfredo!

Alfredo is a wonderful host, and i cant say enough good things about the house. Its perfect for a relaxing and remote stay on Lipari with amazing sunsets, roof terraces and a view from the outside shower to blow you away! There is everything you could need provided and if you have any questions Alfredo is quick and attentive to help out any way that is needed. I would recommend getting a scooter or car for your stay as it is out of town and this makes getting to the markets and beaches much simpler. I hope to be able to return to Lipari and would definitely stay here again or in another of Alfredos properties which also look delightful! I very highly recommend both the property and the host. We had the most wonderful stay. Thank you Alfredo.

We absolutely loved our time in Lipari, & staying in this beautiful house. Alfredo was fantastic collecting & dropping us to the ferry, as well as answering all our questions & giving us info about where to go & eat. The view from the house is stunning & won't easily be forgotten. Watching the sunset from the roof terrace overlooking the vineyard & the sea is particularly memorable. Thanks Alfredo!

Alfredo was a great host. He collected us from the port and even dropped us back off when we left at 6.30am. He was very welcoming and helpful. The place was beautiful and perfect for what we wanted, it was so calm and peaceful. The views were extraordinary. You definitely need a scooter and I got bitten quite a lot so bring repellant. We went to the beach a few times which was nice - canneto beach - would recommend.

Alfredo was an excellent host - meeting us at the ferry port and helping us pick up our hire car before taking us to the house. The house is within walking distance of several restaurants, a couple of which we visited and were very good. The house itself is well equipped - wifi and air conditioning both worked great. The views, particularly from the roof terrace, are amazing.
