The Space & The Hosts

We live in 2 of the 4 bedrooms and we share the common areas: kitchen (no heavy cooking, no fried or pan-fried, no baking), bathroom. We are very friendly and full of local advice. We are creative, geeky, foodies. We love to meet fellow creative and fun people who want to enjoy what the city has to offer.

Come stay with us! We can send you to all the normal tourist spots as well as the little hidden gems and trendy places of Toronto. We know the best places for great unique cuisines, vegetarian/vegan/organic food, live music, shows, etc.

Chimmy was a great host! As soon as I arrived he pulled out a map and showed me all the places to hit in Toronto. The flat is spotless and the bed's very comfortable. Location is absolutely perfect - I walked everywhere within 30 minutes. Queens St W is a super cool neighbourhood and really friendly. Would definitely stop again if I'm ever back in the beautiful city.

Chim's place was great. The location is perfect for anyone wanting to explore downtown as it felt like anything was in walking distance. Public transport is all around, so getting about was no problem for when you want to go further. Chim and John were awesome hosts. They suggested places for me to visit, gave me a run down of the area, checked in with me to see how I was getting on but also respected my space. It could have been the weather, but my room was pretty hot at times. And with no window in the room it felt a tad stuffy. But there is a nice fan in the room to keep yourself cool and you do have run of the flat to relax in so there wasn't anything restricting me to going to a window elsewhere. The people in the flat above were a bit heavy footed and loud at times, although this really wasn't often and shouldn't put you off staying here. If you're planning a trip to Toronto and are planning on using Airbnb, make sure you check out this place first. I'd definitely stay again.

Chim's place is great! We had a super stay. The location was perfect for us, in a really vibrant neighbourhood and close to all the main sights. Trams run right outside & the subway's not too far. Chim was an excellent host - we were out a lot, so didn't see much of him, but when we did he was full of good advice & very friendly.

Chim was a lovely host; and located in a fantastic area if your are visiting Toronto. The apartment is spacious and clean. Further, the perfect place to rest after a long day in Toronto. It is perfectly located between Kensington Markets and Downtown, and extremely easy for anyone wishing to head out to the beaches in the suburbs. Chim is very helpful and knowledgeable in where to go and what to do in Toronto, for which I couldn't have asked for more. Thank you for a lovely stay Chim.

I love to travel, explore new cultures and meet people. I've lived in Brazil, the US, Canada and Hong Kong.

Currently, I live in Toronto and I love hosting Airbnb guests. It's a great experience to learn new cultures and people. Having Airbnb guests reminds me the best of Toronto every single day. :)

I love to keep my place tidy, organized and clean. I enjoy my places: they are all well located in the city and each my places offers a unique set of experience to see and breath the city. Queen St offers amazing "hipster" like experience and it is in the cultural centre of the city. Meanwhile, Church-Jarvis listing offers the most amazing closeness to multiple communities like the LGBT, universities, etc.

In regards of my own travel experience... One of my best vacation was in Sweden when I went to Storsjöyran and camped there. I loved to see the sunsetting starting at 12AM and the sun rise would start again at 3:30AM! I speak English, French, Portuguese, Cantonese, and a little bit of Mandarin and Swedish. I like swimming and playing hockey. I love listening to music: anything from pop, EDM, Chill Out to Hooverphonic. I'm also into entrepreneurship, startup, venture capital, web, mobile, innovations and all shiny new technology.
