Ty Clyd is a tastefully furnished,5 bedroom, Grade II listed house in the seaside village of Newport. Shops, pubs and restaurants are all within walking distance, as is the beach and the Pembrokeshire coastal path. Nestled between the Preseli mountains and the coast, Newport provides the perfect base for exploring all that Pembrokeshire has to offer. The house is a stone built, semi detached house with a private enclosed garden. The house is centrally heated and comfortably sleeps 10 people.

The space
The ground floor accommodation comprises a large open plan kitchen, dining room and living room with a wood burning stove. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher and plenty of crockery, saucepans and utensils. There is a separate utility room with a washing machine and downstairs toilet and a boot room for coats and boots. Also another living room with a gas effect fire. The first floor comprises a king size bedroom, a double bedroom and a twin room with a family sized bathroom with bath and separate shower. The top floor has a king side bedroom and a twin room plus a toilet and shower room. There is a summer house in the garden with a small table tennis table and french doors looking out over the garden. There are plenty of books and games at the house for you to use while you are there.

Ty Clyd is a 5 minute walk from the coastal path and a 15 minute walk to the Parrog which has a beach, sailing club and restaurant. Newport beach is 30 mins by foot or 10 mins by car. There are numerous other beaches accessible by bus or car dotted along the Pembrokeshire coast.

The Preseli hills, Strumble Head, the beaches around Cardigan and the cathedral city of St David’s are all nearby. Fishguard and Cardigan are a 20 minute drive, while St David's is a 40 minute drive.

Newport has a bank, chemist, butcher, baker, clothes and gift shops as well as several excellent cafes, restaurants and pubs. It also has some lovely arts and crafts shops/galleries.
Nearby are the Workshop Wales Gallery and West Wales Arts Centre.
