Absolutely gorgeous inside and out. We greatly enjoyed our stay. The home was spacious and exceeded our expectations. The pavilion and lake provided a great setting for a cookout, and the kids enjoyed the paddle boat and kayaks. Overall a great stay! One note: The house does not have television, telephone, or wi-fi. This required our family and guests to interact and engage in conversation. What a novel idea!

Lovely and very clean home that is perfect for one or two families to share quality time together. The large pond and paddle boat was a bonus. Kids enjoyed playing frisbee in the front yard. There were plenty of board games for kids to play. If you're looking for a nice and quiet getaway with your family, this is great!

Thx so much for our wonderful weekend. We may be back sometime. This was great for our extended family mini-vacation to sight n sound theatre. We loved the atmosphere, the quietness, and the flexibility to make our own meals and just be together. The lake was awesome - loved the kayak and paddle boats. Thx so much. Blessings to all of you !

This large home is a great place to gather, with extended family or friends. Lots of room and beautiful grounds. Easy access to villages on Rte 340, and yet enjoy the countryside . We enjoyed our "too short" time!

Overall the property is quite lovely. We loved the various outdoor seating areas and the fire pit by the pond. Breathtaking sunset views. Chris was very helpful when we got there. We were disappointed when they started constructing a new porch in the property at 6:30am on our first day. We then negotiated a 9am starting for subsequent days, which was still too early for us on what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation. If we had known about this in advance we would not have selected this property. The host came by quite a few times with her husband and walked around inspecting the property. This made us very uncomfortable and we felt our privacy was being invaded. We got several conflicting instructions regarding taking out the trash. Additionally, Miriam was not very nice in her text messaging. She accused of us of having 2 more people than we reported and demanded additional $500+. In the end we settled and gave her additional $300 as at one point we had 8 people on property when some were leaving and others were coming in their place. We did not have extra guests overnight. She claimed to be disappointed with us, but I think it was more the other way around.
