Cosy Sea View Apartment - Greenwood is a first floor self-contained flat in a Victorian Villa situated on the shore front with fabulous views from the lounge & bedroom over the sea. It is a short stroll to the village shop, pub with beer garden and Restaurant. We have a log burning stove for cosy nights in, CD player,DAB radio, TV, DVD. The kitchen overlooks the rear garden; fully equipped with everything you need, it is the perfect retreat for those who want to relax and get away from it all.

The space
Uninterrupted views with fantastic scenery, local pub with great food makes Kames the perfect peaceful location; the flat is aimed at those seeking a relaxed time. It's great for wildlife, walking, cycling, fishing and sailing. If you're lucky you may see seals, porpoises and possibly wild otters in the bay from the lounge window, you can enjoy seeing the yachts & the worlds last seagoing paddle steamer sail past. Kames is the sister village to Tighnabruaich and you can easily walk between the two; there are shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs, gallery, post office and petrol station. Spend the day exploring the area on foot, take a picnic to the local beach or take a boat trip and see the coastline.

Kames is the sister village to Tighnabruaich and you can easily walk between the two; there are shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs, gallery, post office and petrol station. The Village Shop is well stocked and has everything you need including coal and wood for the fire as well as locally sourced fresh produce. The local pub is excellent; it has a beer garden and does great food. Spend the day exploring the area on foot, take a picnic to the local beach or take a boat trip and see the coastline. During the Shinty season take a short stroll and watch the team in action. There is also a local golf course.
Local events: Tighnabruaich Regatta, Kyles Music Festival,Cowal Highland Gathering, Kyles 10 Miles Run, spend a day on aboard the PS Waverly.
