We are a small B&B right at the edge of lake Iberá. We offer bright rooms right in the heart of nature in Colonia Carlos Pellegrini, Esteros del Iberá, Argentina. Local cuisine, pool, horseback rides and much more!
Casa Santa Ana del Iberá sits right at the edge of the Laguna Iberá, at a quiet corner of the small village of Carlos Pellegrini, the only town located inside the Iberá Wetland wildlife reserve.
Casa Santa Ana was conceived as a family house, during many years the house received family and friends in an environment surrounded by nature and its colorful folklore traditions.
The rooms are simple yet comfortable, keeping a close contact with the architecture of the area, resembling our typical argentine estancias.
They are distributed along the big house and the smaller guests houses, all conected with corridors facing the Laguna Iberá.
The culture and tradition of this very central and isolated area is expressed in its authoctonal cuisine. Its main ingredients belong to a region where products used and methods of elaboration are the result of a selected diet developed over many years by native people.
For travelers visiting this area, enjoying a menu of assorted local dishes is as important as the surrounding natural environment. Hence, at Casa Santa Ana we invite our guests to try our plates elaborated with regional ingredients.
We offer programs including full board, visit to the Iberá Natural Reserve Interpretation Center and a boat ride to the Laguna.
