This appartement is very close of the acropole and the subway. Carol was very helpful and let us drop our staff very early in the morning in her place
Response from Carole:
This is a Neo Classical Listed house, built at the time of the first Olympic Games in Athens over a hundred and twenty years ago. I have lived here for 42 years. It is a beautiful and usually quiet street leading up to the Philopappou monument. However people have to go to work and the Greeks have to live . The floor tiles are chipped and discoloured and bear marks which reflect the life they have lived. The house is suitable for writers and artists who appreciate the plasterwork ceilings and the architecture and original features. It is not a Swiss Chalet. I did not advertise that you could do a months washing here, it seems you would have been better off in a hostel.
