Our host Michel greeted us at the front of the building and was as warm and welcoming as can be. The apartment was furnished with comfortable furniture and the host's extensive art collection that made us feel as if we were staying in our own home. The location was superb. Our family vacation was wonderful.

Great apartment in a great location with a kind host. We had a fantastic time during our stay at this apartment. The location is perfect. It is within a short walk of the Louvre and the Musee d'Orsay and is surrounded by quality restaurants and good shopping. The apartment is stylishly decorated, there are plenty of amenities, and there is a lot of space considering it is a city flat. We were two adults and three children and fit comfortably into the four rooms. I would also be remiss if I didn't mention that Michel was a perfect host and made a point of making himself available to us. The only downside to the apartment, and the only reason we gave it four instead of five stars, is that noise from the apartment carries. We were in the apartment for less than a day when one of the neighbors stopped by to complain about the noise. We do have three kids and I suspect they did indeed make a bit more noise than adults walking around the house and they probably talked a bit louder than adults do as well. But it certainly wasn't a ruckus and it was a tad of a downer to have to shush the kids the whole week. If you are not traveling with children I don't think you are likely to have a problem but if you are it is something to consider.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Michel's place. We were 6 people, 3 couples, traveling together. The apartment was just as pictured and truly lovely-- lots of natural light, high ceilings, a large common room, and well-sized bedrooms. It was also delightfully full of art and interesting furniture. Traveling in a large group can cause friction, but the space let us be separate or together with ease. the three full bathrooms and two half was also a luxury. The area it's in, the 6th, was a perfect central location for us. The Rue de Bac Metro station was very close to get to all parts of the city and the Seine and Louvre were a quick 10 minute walk away. We took advantage of the local Sunday market to buy ingredients and produce, the local cheese, wine, and bakery shops, as well. There is also a Monoprix and pharmacie nearby, in case you need anything! Communicating with Michel and his daughters was easy and there were many ways of getting in touch should we have needed to. We felt very welcome in his home. I highly recommend staying with Michel if you are traveling to Paris--it really made a HUGE difference in our trip!

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment. Not only that the description was precise but the host were very generous and went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We stayed there for 6 nights in 7 adults + one baby and felt extremely comfortable. The neighborhood is, in my mind, the best in Paris. Close to many attractions and situated at the Saint Germain des Pres area, this apartment was the highlight of our family trip to Paris.
