The space
The wild west coast of Golden Bay is an awesome area to explore with its lime stone cliffs and deserted beaches. The journey here is part of the adventure. Turn left after the little settlement of Pakawau and we are 30Km down a spectacular winding coastal road, take your time and enjoy the trip.

You have a stand alone chalet with full access to our garden, wonderful views of the wetlands and magnificent rocky outcrops.There are walking tracks through the surrounding areas of native forest and it is just a 5 mins drive to the nearest beach.

Guests come here to get right away from it all. Our property is part of the Mangarakau wetland and there are walks through the wetland and up into the native bush. The West Coast is only a few minutes drive down the road with long sandy beaches and plenty of rock pools to explore. The Nugget Café is just down the road however this is closed between Easter and Christmas. except for the odd long weekend. On a clear night, the night sky is absolutely awesome. The bird-life is really lovely.
