A nice neighborhood on the waterfront full of friendly people. Far enough away from the hustle of town, but close enough to the village of Nikiana that you can walk there. Excellent for tourism because of the many restaurants and hotels nearby. In Nikiana you can do anything from shop to rent cars and boats. Close to the main road (with bus stop) when you need to explore more of the island and don't have a vehicle. Also, the only island in Greece that is connected to the mainland by road.
