Twin Oaks is an updated doublewide home perched on a basalt knoll with 11 beautiful acres overlooking vineyards and the Columbia River. Views include river and gorge to the west and north. In springtime see waterfalls on the Washington cliffs.
Located 8 miles east of Hood River, Twin Oaks is near Mosier on scenic Hwy 30. This is in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge, with nearby hiking, biking, watersports, boat ramp, & ski areas. Enjoy the numerous wineries and local microbrews in the area.

The space
Twin Oaks house is 1800 square feet, one-level, 3 bedroom, 2 bath. This is an 80's doublewide; but don't worry, shag carpet is gone and the wallpaper is painted over. We are gradually updating and improving it, and it's a very clean and comfortable space now. Let's call it an artsy cabin ambiance with touch of Ikea.

Where you’ll be

The Dalles, Oregon, United States

The setting is oak and pine prairie and meadow with basalt outcroppings. The landscape is natural, and we regularly see deer, turkey, coyote, redtail hawk, osprey vulture, bald eagle, and golden eagle. The bird feeders attract red and yellow finch, nuthatch, towhee, chickadee, western bluebird, redwing blackbird, western tanager, sparrow, and junco. Enjoy wildflowers April-May. Two nearby hikes provide more opportunities to connect to nature. Two wineries with tasting rooms are within walking distance.
