Magical and creative! Get ready for the most unique and one of the most popular properties in the Hudson Valley for over 18 years. With 150 feet of frontage on the Esopus Creek in the back of the property and the rolling hills and barns of an organic farm in the front. Tranquility dominates the views seen from every vantage point of this gorgeous house located at the base of the Catskill mountains. Truly the coziest little getaway perfect to escape all the hustle and bustle of life!

In order to offer our guests the best experience possible with the highest standards, we personally clean and prepare our property, we coordinate bookings and we communicate with guests. Should you need anything or have any questions, during your stay, we will take the call and personally respond to any guest needs. We are extremely proud to be able to do this.
**FEES, PESKY CLEANING FEES- Please know that we are fully aware of our guests' frustrations with the current structure of fees applied when using Airbnb. Therefore, we have chosen to take on most of these fees and pass the savings on to our guests. We simply ask guests to leave the house as close to how they received it as possible without doing any laundry :). Hopefully, you will see these savings as you compare properties and gladly book with us. Happy searching!
"Pure Magic" - Experience Brigham Place- One of the Hudson Valley's longest running and highest rated rental properties over the last 18 years. From the pride and passion of the owners, to the special attention paid to every detail. You too, can experience this waterfront and country oasis.
Relax overlooking the gorgeous creek on our double decks in the back of the house and retreat to the "Sunset" deck with your cocktails in the evening and watch the sunset over the farm from the front of the house. You are surrounded by nature and thus everything that comes with it. You may see bugs and animals that are typically found in nature; including ticks. It is always recommended to check yourself as ticks can be found throughout the Hudson Valley.
With 150 feet of frontage on the Esopus Creek in the back of the property and the rolling hills and barns of an organic farm in the front of the property, tranquility dominates the views seen from the windows of this charming cottage located at the base of the Catskill mountains.
The house was eco consciously designed with bamboo floors, reclaimed materials and vintage furnishings. This 2 bedroom and 1 bath cottage has a spacious open floor plan which includes a chef inspired kitchen with a large dining bar and French doors opening out from the main living area to a sprawling deck surrounded by nature.
Privately set on a quiet road, in a beautiful neighborhood, this comfortably furnished cottage captures the essence of Hudson Valley living. Close to Saugerties, Rhinebeck, Uptown Kingston, Woodstock, H.I.T.S, skiing, sledding, wineries, boutiques, acclaimed restaurants and a stone's throw to several rustic farms where you can purchase your fresh produce, milk and farm raised eggs.
You will not find a property quite like Brigham Place. As the many guest reviews suggest, our home is quirky and fun and full of personal touches to make it a memorable stay! This is anything but your typical Airbnb experience. We do have some antique taxidermy around the house. Please note that I have never hunted in my life. I hit a bird with a BB gun once when I was a child and still lose sleep over it.
To add to your enjoyment, we now provide 4 kayaks with life vests so that you can enjoy the Esopus Creek accessible directly from the private dock off of the backyard! You will have a beautiful 2.5 mile span of the creek between two lovely waterfalls to explore!
Lastly, we do have well water, as a majority of rural houses do in upstate New York. We do have a state of the art Ultra Violet water filtration system and it is completely safe to drink.
Guest access
The entire House and property are accessible and available to guests. The crawl space/storage area under the house is not accessible.
Other things to note
We have done away with our cleaning fee. However, we do ask our guests to please leave the house how they found it. We take pride in leaving you a clean and orderly home to enjoy. Please be sure to follow the check out checklist on your way out! Don't worry....we DON'T ask you to do the laundry, or mow the lawn or replace the roofing! :)~
We are also a dog friendly property because our fur babies are also part of the family! Please be sure to add them to your reservation! We do charge a PER dog fee of $176 to cover excess wear and tear plus the additional cleaning required. If you will be bringing 2 dogs(MAX) you will be sent a request for the additional dog after you book. If your pups shed, please be sure to do your best to vacuum up as much hair as possible before you checkout. We want to continue to provide the privilege of traveling with your fur babies! We are unable to host cats at this time.
***Please note our Strict Cancellation Policy. We strongly recommend that you purchase trip insurance for your reservation!! There are many companies out there that will give you different options at affordable prices! Please do your research.
