Guest access
We have 6 guest bedrooms available at present which all have loch views, en-suite facilities with beautiful Victorian style porcelain and rainfall showers as well as a hairdryer, television, tea and coffee making facilities and access to an iron and ironing board. There is also a stunning communal sitting room and small upstairs snug where you are welcome to relax and read a book or perhaps exchange stories with fellow guests. From 12 March 2020 guests will be able to enjoy use of the Drawing Room which has a private residents bar and will be open from 17:00 - 23:00 - last orders at 22:45.

Room 4 has a king size bed and the original Victorian window shutters block out all the light - perfect for a great night's sleep.

Continental breakfast is included and is available from 08:30 - 09:30 in the dining room which looks out across Loch Ness. Together with other guests you can enjoy the view and watch the birds in the garden, you might even see the occasional red squirrel! Please discuss any dietary requirements with me in advance.

We are delighted to be working with the Waterfall Cafe to offer dinner to residents on Saturday nights. A three course set menu is served at 19:30 in the Dining Room where you can enjoy an atmospheric and unique opportunity to dine with fellow guests. We will ask you to confirm your place ahead of your stay. Dinner is prepared off-site and therefore we cannot accommodate last minute reservations or cancellations.

During the rest of the week we are delighted to offer our cheese and charcuterie boards which showcase local produce. Available in the Drawing Room or garden – weather permitting – from 18:00-22:00.

Wifi is free and there is a large car park for your use and of course you may enjoy the garden - perfect for sitting and pondering as you gaze down the Great Glen.

Access to Foyers Bay and the Loch side is a 5-10 minute walk downhill from the lodge.

In order to make the most of your holiday we recommend a 2 or 3 night stay.

Other things to note
We don’t accommodate infants or children under the age of 14. Each room has a maximum capacity of 2.

Check-in is from 16:00-21:00. Late check-in (21:00-22:45) can be arranged for £15. We close/lock up at 23:00, entry to the lodge is not possible after this time. Check-out is by 10:00.

Foyers Lodge holds a license to sell alcohol. Only drinks purchased at Foyers Lodge may be consumed on the premises unless you are paying corkage. The following corkage charges apply to any bottles you choose to bring with you and will be added to your bill: Wine/Champagne - £25 per bottle, Spirits - £75 per bottle.

We want guests to enjoy the grounds at Foyers Lodge in safety. Please do not venture beyond the main lawn area and be aware of the very steep bank at the edge of the garden.

Foyers Lodge is situated amidst stunning natural scenery, mountains, forests and of course enjoys amazing views of Loch Ness. We provide all the necessities for modern living in order to make your stay as comfortable as possible, this includes wifi. However, being located in a rural setting means broadband speeds may not be as super-fast as you are accustomed to and inclement weather can also affect services. If fast upload/download speeds are imperative for you, you may wish to seek accommodation in the city.

Location

Foyers, Scotland, United Kingdom

Please note that Foyers Lodge sits on the outskirts of Foyers around 1 mile from the main hub of the village. Foyers lies 18 miles south of Inverness and 12 miles north of Fort Augustus.

It's also worth noting that Foyers is situated on the quieter south side of Loch Ness so if you are looking to get away from it all and to enjoy walks, views and beautiful scenery in a peaceful location then this is the place for you. If you prefer access to lots of restaurants and tourist attractions (and 'A' roads ! ) you might prefer the north side of the Loch or somewhere closer to Inverness.

As well as the famous 'Falls of Foyers' there are a variety of beautiful walks you can go on which take you around the village and beyond, including along the shoreline. If you are really into walking/hiking we are ideally situated for completing the South Loch Ness Trail or Loch Ness 360 - details available on either the walkhighlands or visitinvernesslochness websites.

We have a cafe, a tea room with farm shop, a village store with post office and a pub that's a short walk down the hill. In addition there is an award winning camp site in Lower Foyers (10/15 min walk) where there is a gift shop/deli and a new bistro, kayaks are also available for hire (conditions permitting). There are two other restaurant/pubs close by, one in Whitebridge and the other in Dores which are 10 mins/20 mins drive away respectively.

We have fishing rights on three local Lochs - Loch Ness, Loch Mhor and Loch Bran. Please contact us in advance if you would like to go fly fishing and we can provide quotes and make arrangements for you to be taken out with our Ghillie - experience is not required, you will be provided with tuition and all equipment will be supplied. An opportunity to try something new!

You may also be interested in taking a boat trip on the 'Glenliath' which is available for private charter and sails from Foyers Pier, located directly underneath Foyers Lodge (10 min walk). You can visit the Loch Ness Explorer website for more details.

If you walk towards Inverfarigaig you will find Boleskine graveyard on the left hand side just 10 minutes walk from the lodge.
