A cosy but bright double room. Originally a Victorian Railworkers house now full of art and quirky features, we are ideally located just at the end of the High street. Its great for getting involved in what the Fort has to offer but set back enough that you can chill with views over the water. Breakfast is continental and available as you like. My rescue dog Chloe stays occasionally, she is still timid but loving and playful after a wee sniff. So pit-stop or chill you'll be welcome and comfy. :)

The space
We are on the ground floor, and the flat is compact but comfortable. The lounge, kitchen, living and bathroom are all shared, so I ask that folk use but respect my home as we will respect your privacy too.

The room is cosy again, but has a quality double bed (and decent pillows) and cupboard space. Breakfast is animal product free and self-serve from a selection: fruit, toast, granola and or porridge, juice and dairy free yoghurt.

If I am away, the master bedroom will also be rented out, so you may have some highland travel buddies :)

Guest access
Feel free to make yourselves at home - you will see your room as you go into the house. The kitchen and living room are available any time, help your self to the selection of tea and coffee, squash and fruit, but please just clear up after yourselves, thank you :) Breakfast is a continental selection, including toast, home made jams, fruit, granola, prroidge or just a cereal bar if your in a rush. And don't forget the fresh ground coffee!

Other things to note
I am vegan and offer dairy and meat-free breakfast options, however, I don't mind if you bring your own or cook in the kitchen. Some guests leave food (e.g. dairy butter, cheese etc.) behind and if it is still in date it will be on the top shelf of the fridge

Location

Highlands, Fort William, United Kingdom

Very quiet (unless you find singing birds annoying :P ) and friendly neighbours, trees, shrubs, burns (streams) and waterfalls surround our block. Our neighbours include birds, foxes, deer and the occasional otter! And all just 2 minutes off the high street.

I live in the incredible Fort William, love travelling, the outdoors, sport, animals and meeting new people. I also find that food, real beer and good whisky help keep life awesome.

During your stay
I am generally on the go, although I am likely to be around at some point. At times I might not have much brain power for more than a hi, how are you :). Other times I might have a friends over for dinner and you'll be welcomed into the gang, if you would like to be. I'm always delighted to pass on my thoughts tips and ideas of how best to appreciate the stunning highlands! If I'm not around I'll try and do that over messenger but I'm happy to take a call.
