In the Lot et Garonne region, in the heart of the medieval village of Monflanquin, Colette chose to liven up again a beautiful authentic house from the Middle Ages. Striding up and down the narrow streets will make you feel like living in the XIIIrd Century...
For Colette, it has been a wonderful adventure to revive this place, creating a Guesthouse named “Les Fleurs des Iles”. The austere and dark aspect of the rooms made of large stonewalls let place to a luminous and convivial place of living. To create the themes of each room, she got inspired by her childhood spent on the Reunion Island, and lulled with warmth and glistening colours.
