Kyra and Gerry's home gave us a wonderful base from which to explore Westport, the Achill islands and the Wild Atlantic Way. Directions to the house were straightforward and on arrival home made biscuits were fresh out of the oven! Our room was spacious, bright, comfortable and clean with the added bonus of an ensuite bathroom. The bed was king size and very comfortable. The whole house had a lovely homely feel to it coupled with the fact that Kyra and Gerry are warm, friendly and helpful hosts. Breakfast was delicious with home made soda bread, jams made from their garden fruit and eggs from the ducks and hens that were wandering about outside. We would thoroughly recommend staying with Kyra and Gerry.

The place was lovely, when we found it. There are 2 school houses in the same area and we had a job finding it. Unfortunately, wifi is not good in the vicinity and we lost connections. Certainly not the fault of the hostess

Directions were perfect. Beautiful location. Our room was bright, spacious and very comfortable with wonderful views and gorgeous gardens. Our hosts we're fab and made sure we had everything we needed. Great conversation, coffee and yummy breakfast with home made scones and jam. Having travelled the entire breadth of the country to Westport we thoroughly enjoyed our home away from home. Normally we stay in one of the town hotels, never again, we would go back in a heartbeat!

Wonderful house and location. Quiet with lovely views, yet only a short drive to charming Westport. A very relaxed atmosphere thanks to Kyra and Gerry's very friendly and easy-going manner. Thanks for making us feel so welcome. The dogs are adorable - even for someone who is not a dog lover. Would definitely stay again.

We both had a wonderful stay with Kyra. There is a lovely energy to her home and we we're happy to be welcomed by her two cheery dogs. The bedroom was nice, with a comfy bed and loads of space to relax. We had a lovely breakfast in the morning with fresh pickings from the garden. Kyra also gave us some excellent advice on where to eat locally which turned out to be our favourite spot for food on the whole 10 day trip. We recommend her highly as a host.
