Rose St is just 40m away from Princes St, the famous main street of Edinburgh with shops and restaurants on one side and the lovely Princes St Gardens on the other. Edinburgh Castle dominates the city above the Gardens.

The space

The comfortable accommodation is furnished to a high standard and comprises of an entrance hall, a spacious living room with an open plan fitted kitchen, a good sized bedroom with a super king sized bed (queen size in US) which can be split into 2 singles upon request. The bathroom has a shower. A further two people can be accommodated on two single (adult sized) fold out beds in the living room. The living room looks out into Rose Street while the bedroom is at the back of the building.

It is only 40 metres to Princes Street to the south and to George St to the north. Rose Street itself is a bustling, attractive pedestrianised street with restaurants, shops and bars. The nearest supermarket is only 30m away. Many of the museums, galleries and attractions in Edinburgh city centre and the Royal Mile are also an easy stroll away. This is apartment is truly in the centre!

Perfect for either a city break or working in Edinburgh. Would suit singles, couples or families visiting Edinburgh for either work or leisure.

A two hour clean is included in the cost. Please leave the apartment in such a way that two hours is enough to prepare it for the next guest. Washing the dishes and taking out any rubbish (if more than 1 bag) helps with this. Many thanks.

Excellent apartment that was perfect for my stay at the Fringe. Lynne had everything ready and was exactly as pictured. Really comfortable place to relax in. Lynne kept in touch and helped really easily too. Great stay.

Great flat in a great location. We appreciated that it was quieter than the places we stayed at just off the Royal Mile. It was also great to see a bed equivalent to a US queen. Amenities were great and surpassed what most accommodations offer in Edinburgh. The personalized, hand written note made it extra special.

Wonderful location. Apartment is very comfortable and Lynne and her husband are very responsive. This is our second visit to one of their apartments and we will look forward to staying with them again in the future.

Lynne's place was perfect for our stay, it was very nicely decorated and really cosy and comfortable it really felt like a home. The apartment is really central, a walkway from everything that you will want to visit and close to many nice restaurants and shops. Lynne was also a lovely host and very helpful with her recommendations.

Lynne's apartment is in the New Town Georgian part of Edinburgh, built in the 18th century. Easy walk from the train station. It is on a beautiful street full of delicious restaurants and great shops. We walked everywhere in Edinburgh and the apartment was in a great location! It was immaculately clean and comfortable. Lynne even provided coffee, tea, milk and other condiments. The directions are very clear and communication with Lynne was complete, informative and very easy. Wonderful place!

Hi, I have been with Airbnb for two years now but have been running my holiday apartments for 5 years with 4-5 stars from all my guests. I myself am an avid renter of self catering for holidays with my family.

I believe you should have everything in an apartment you need except food, so I provide everything from toilet paper to tinfoil. There is nothing more annoying than going away for a weekend and having to buy full packets of everything !

I enjoy meeting guests if possible and am contactable, but very much leave guests to enjoy their holiday after the initial contact unless a guest wants more.
