Ruth's House is a comfortable 3 bedroom 2 bath water view farmhouse with full kitchen, living room with fireplace nestled next to our Red Devon pasture. A 10 minute walk across the field and dunes brings you to Menemsha Beach and the 300 year old fishing port. Please see the Menemsha Inn & Cottages. website for a 360° tour. You are most welcome to bring one pet for a $50 nightly fee. The pet fee is due at the front desk upon arrival. Please see additional house rules.

Menemsha is a working fishing villiage, while bustling in the summer months, only one fish market and gas station remain open year round. If you plan on visiting in May or October without a vehicle you must travel to another town for lunch and dinner if you are not content with seafood! Menemsha fish market has delicious clam chowder, lobster bisque, lobster rolls (classic or hot buttered!) stuffed clams, oysters, lobsters, fish sandwiches, crab cakes, steamers etc, and is only a short walk down the path. They will cook for you to eat there or bring back home. The Texaco has drinks, snacks, ice cream, fishing gear and other basic neccesities.
