The space
Our apartment has position position so close to the beach and Glenelg central. Built in 1890 it has original ornate 12 ft ceilings with hand plastered cornices and large open spaces 106 sq. mtrs. It feels like our own grand designed apartment it underwent a reno in 1940 and now we have just undertaken a major reno also to introduce a sleek ensuite, blending it into the room. In the kitchen we have added a granite bench top and stainless steel appliances. However the best room of the house is the bedroom with marble fireplace and attached sunroom perfect to spend time relaxing when not out on the beach. We have respected the era of the home having it painted to heritage colours. If you like older style homes with modern convience and want to spend time at the beach with pulic transport nearby to Adelaide city you will love sharing our apartment with us.

Where you’ll be

Glenelg, South Australia, Australia

Located only 10km from the heart of Adelaide City, Glenelg is a charming seaside resort set on the long sandy white shores of Holdfast Bay. Glenelg is the site of South Australia's original mainland settlement in 1836. Glenelg is not only the place to see wild dolphins, but you can swim with them and it's a must do whilst in Adelaide. When you swim with them you have an amazing and unforgetable interaction that lasts for a lifetime - book your swim (or watch) either at the Glenelg Information Centre, or direct with Temptation Sailing. Have a look at their webpage www.dolphinboat.com.au.
