Lives in Ypres, Belgium
I was born and raised Ypres, for five generations we have been a photographer from father to son. Of course, my interest goes into photography, but also history, literature, art, music and science are part of my environment. Not only mechanics, old-timers and cars, electricity, weapons and ammunition, sailing - and motorboats enjoy my preference, I am also very happy to do gardening. My wife Elke and I can also enjoy a brisk walk in the “Heuvellandse” here in the region followed by a visit to a typical cafe or other brown pub where we get our effort and sit around the table with a nice local beer, a hearty bite and together with the friends. I myself am also a member of the service club Kiwanis "Ypres Vlakke Land" , we organize all kinds of activities whose proceeds are integral to the charity. We provide both financial and material support to the children from the region. We also realized the bronze maquette, visible on the Grote Markt of the Lakenhalle and the Belfry and that of the Menin Gate that stands on top of the fortresses, both for the benefit of the visually impaired.
