Luxury boutique New Forest cottage situated within the forest. Newly refurbished to a high standard, the perfect place and location for walking, cycling, sailing, horse riding or relaxing.

This cottage, one of a row, is peacefully located in the village of Pilley with the quaint, local village shop only 100 yards away and one of the oldest pubs in Hampshire is less than a 10-minutes walk. Ponies and cattle wander freely along the roads and even right outside the front door of the cottage.

Living/dining room: With wood burner, Freesat TV, DVD player, selection of DVDs and books, and wooden floor.
Kitchen: With gas range, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.

Shower room: With shower cubicle and toilet.
First Floor:
Bedroom 1: With kingsize bed.
Bedroom 2: With double bed.
Bedroom 3: With single bed.
Bathroom: With shower over bath and toilet.. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included.

Travel cot and highchair. Welcome pack and doggy extras. Enclosed lawned garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. On road parking. No smoking.

Inside, there is a stylishly furnished, well presented living/dining room with wooden floors, a wood burner and thoughtful personal touches including ultra fast broadband, a selection of books, DVDs, games and toys for guests to enjoy.

Neighbourhood highlights

The Georgian market town of Lymington, 1 mile away, is renowned for its nautical links. It has a marina harbour walk leading to seawater baths and out on to the saltmarshes. Boutiques, cafes, ice cream parlours, pubs and restaurants line the cobbled streets and you can hop on a ferry to the Isle of Wight in 15 minutes. The New Forest is ever popular all year round, and is suitable for all age groups. The unspoilt forest and heathland with wandering ponies and cattle is what it is most known for. Discover some of the villages, towns, attractions and gardens such as the historic priory town of Christchurch, Lyndhurst, The Manorial village of Beaulieu with its magnificent house and gardens, the famous Motor Museum and the marina at Bucklers Hard on the river. Also discover Exbury Gardens nearby and the beautiful Mottisfont House and Gardens (National Trust) near Romsey.

Further afield but well worth a trip is Monkey World, the Tank Museum near Wool, Marwell Zoo, Paultons Park with Peppa Pig World, Highcliffe Castle, Bovington Tank Museum and The Owl and Otter Park and nautical maritime history at Southampton, with retail shopping outlets. Winchester Cathedral is within easy driving distance as well as the Jurrasic coastline at Durdle Door and Corfe Castle. There are many glorious sandy beaches and natural coastline at Bournemouth, Sandbanks and Poole all within a short drive. There are many popular activities in the locality including riding, golf, fishing windsurfing, boating and swimming.

My family and I recently brought 6 Pilley Green after staying there and falling in love with the cottage and Pilley in the summer of 2018. The New Forest is a truly magical place with so much on your doorstep and wild horses and donkeys at your front door.
