Our stay at Sangare Gardens was the highlight of my week in Kenya. It does take about 4 hours to drive from Nairobi with traffic, but is worth every second of the drive. You are greeted with exceptional local cuisine made from the produce and livestock raised on the farm (an impeccably clean and well run one). There are tranquil paths to have a morning run and watch the sunrise over Mt Kenya in the distance. We went specifically to visit coffee farms and Claudia organized a full day for us with Muchiri at Dedan Kimathi University to learn more about the industry in the region. Whether you are a local or a tourist, Sangare Gardens is not to be missed.
