The space
It is a small house in Koumeika, a beautiful and picturesque village of Samos, with great advantage that it is located just above the sea of Balos. Balos is a quiet place, so the house is in a quiet area although it has neighboring houses. Perhaps only in August the area will be filled with more people.

Other things to note
Samos, the beautiful island of the southeast Aegean is a place of magnificent history, wonderful beaches, unique gastronomy and many more activities. It satisfies every traveler’s style and if you go once, it will pull you close forever!
First of all, Samos is known as Pythagoras’s island, since it is considered the birthplace of this great mathematician and philosopher. In fact, it houses a mathematics university in Karlovasi, as well as a university of statistics and computer engineering.
Due to its great history, it is next to having museums of many themes such as archaeological, folklore and many more. At this point it should not be overlooked to mention the vulnerable trench in Pythagorio, which is an unrivaled miracle of engineering and has a great amount of visitors around the world.
Samos is also an excellent destination for religious tourism, since it is an island scattered by country churches, metochia and monasteries. The Monastery of Zoodochos Pigi, the Monastery of Panagia Vrontiani and Moni Profitis Elias are only a few of them.
One could not ignore the plethora of local products which it has. Among them is of course the samian wine, which has been a legend since antiquity and is exported to all over the world. It has four wineries, which produce wine of all varieties and have accumulated hundreds of awards and distinctions in international competitions and exhibitions. Apart from the wine, the traditional ouzo and the souma of the island have a great history. Another wonderful product that Samos produces is the honey which, beyond its taste, is highly sought after for its beneficial properties.
The unique feature of the island is that it combines majestic mountain scenery with beautiful turquoise beaches. This enables many different activities. Hiking, mountaineering, climbing, cycling are some of those that will help you taste the wild beauty of the majestic nature of Samos. Samos Outdoors is a group of nature lovers who can better organize the traveler to explore this beauty. Another activity provided by the island and specifically in Kokkari is wind-surfing for the lovers of the sea and especially for the lovers of the waves. Something that perhaps does not wait to meet in Samos is waterfalls located in Potami Karlovasi with excellent natural beauty and form two small lakes, ideal for the bold people who want to swim in their cold waters.
Lucky will be the one who will be at a festival in the hot months since Samos is undoubtedly sure to celebrate it. Equally popular is the wine festival, with lots of dancing, food and, of course, wine.
In conclusion, the mentioned above are just some of the things that one can enjoy on this multilateral island.
So take the opportunity and visit it as soon as possible to fill in new and unique experiences!

Location

Koumeika, Greece

Balos beach is located in the center of southern Samos overlooking Patmos, Ikaria, Fournoi, Arkioi, Marathi and Samiopoula. You can find five restaurants to enjoy delicious food with local products , a hotel which provides breakfast, a pool bar for dives and a bar even for longer hours. The distances are very small, since the farthest tavern is only 3 minutes and the closest 1 minute.
The first village we meet is Koumeika, which has a bakery and two mini-markets to buy everything you need. It also has a coffe shop and a restaurant where you can drink your coffee or your beer under the shade of a large plane tree in the village square. You should not omit to drink the cool and crystal clear water of the fountain in the square.
Just 10 minutes away is Kaladakia, an organized beach with the famous majestic cave that resembles a blue lake.
Ormos Marathokampos is also very close and has many options for coffee, food, drink and product markets. The beautiful, picturesque harbor is something worth seeing.
