Despite arrive quite late at night I had such a warm welcome from Deborah, Ray... and of course Morag the pooch! The room was big with a private bathroom and I slept like a baby. I went for an early run and breakfast has been tailored for post-exercise - what a touch! Highly recommended for a great stay.

Deborah was a very friendly host and the house itself is beautiful with the most amazing books and artwork. It was a lovely bonus to have a Scottish connection through bonnie wee morag the dog!

From the warm welcome to when we arrived to when we left we felt very at home in Deborah's place. We stayed in the lower level with private bathroom which was perfect for our one night stopover as we had everything we needed. Deborah gave us some great tips on where to visit in Kingston and the surrounding area on our way up to Montreal. Breakfast consisted of homemade pancakes with blueberries (and maple syrup of course!), fresh fruit, coffee, orange juice and granola - a lovely touch.

Deborah was very helpful, interesting and friendly. Her house is adorable, beautiful furniture, very homely, and Deborah is obviously a well read lady as her book collection of Canadian authors in the basement is amazing. Her dog is very welcoming and well behaved. The breakfast was delicious, her crepes delicious and our first opportunity to try maple syrup. It was also nice spending time at breakfast to chat with Deborah and also a young American couple who were also staying. Parking easy and not too far a drive in to Kingston. Lovely quiet neighbourhood beautiful housing estate. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Deborah as a host.x
