Peace and quiet

This home is in a quiet area.
Stylish bungalow in Carbis Bay. 10 to 15 minutes walk to the Beach. A peaceful residential area (not a party house). 20 mins walk to St Ives along the
stunning coast path.

Bright, and airy. 3 bedrooms - being 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin. A secluded private garden with views of the Lighthouse from the deck and one of the bedrooms.
Parking for ample cars on the drive and street.

We are lovers of dogs but only non chewers and no dogs on beds or furniture.

The space
Walking into a bright and airy hallway with wood floors you find a spacious twin room to your left and a very comfy double to your right. Both with new beds and lovely soft furnishing, luxurious lighting and very stylish beach house style shutters. All the bedrooms are newly carpeted.

Toward the end of the hallway you walk into a beautiful sunny lounge and dining area with wood flooring, a dining table for 6 and cosy sofa and chairs seating area. There is a SMART TV and DVD player with a wide selection of DVDs available to you during your stay.

French doors open out onto a large decking area and lovely secluded garden. There are sun loungers on the deck and a further deck area at the bottom of the garden providing outside dining for 6 people. Here you catch a lovely glimpse of Godrevey lighthouse and beyond.

At the end of the hallway you will find another dounle bedroom 3, with a smart TV, along with the kitchen and bathroom. The Kitchen has been refurbished with stunning navy wood cupboards and dazzling white worktops with a hint of sparkle to go with the shiny copper handles! There is an oven with hob and grill, a dishwasher, washing machine (there is a tumble dryer in the outer shed), microwave, Fridge/freezer, coffee machine and all manner of utensils, crockery, cutlery, pans etc for you to cook up a storm.
From here another door is leading straight onto the decking area.

Bedroom 3 is a very spacious double and overlooks the garden and boasts a wall mounted smart TV.

The lovely fully tiled bathroom has a very large frame less glass shower.

There is a lawn area to the front of the house and parking on the drive for two small cars or one large. The street is free unrestricted parking - although we do ask if you park on the road you park in front of the property hedge and not someone else's.

You can open the garage door electrically from inside. Go into the garden and down the side to the garage door. To the right is a big red button press this to open the up and over door MAKE SURE YOU HAVE PARKED FAR ENOUGH BACK FOR THE DOOR TO OPEN!!!! Get your hilll starts when you drive off as its on a slight slope and we have already had one guest have to replace a smashed door!

The beautiful white sandy beach at Carbis Bay has been awarded Blue Flag status, meaning it has superior levels of water quality and beach cleanliness. Here there is a fabulous beach side terrace restaurant, a fine dining and cocktail barand many types of water sports equipment for hire. you can walk it from the house in 15 mins easily.

The South West coastal path runs along from Carbis Bay to St Ives, and the views from this path are truly stunning. A coastal train also runs along the cliff-side, transporting passengers between Carbis Bay and St Ives.

The village itself has a few convenience stores and a Tesco supermarket within walking distance along with several restaurants and a great local pub.

The Property is opposite the beautiful Knill Steeple. 1 minute to the end of the road and you are into the field leading to the woodland and gentle climb to the Steeple. Here you will see far reaching views up the Cornish coast in one direction and over the moors toward North Cornwall in the other. Well worth andafter dinner stroll! (See photo)

Once in St Ives the beaches are also breathtakingly beautiful:
Local Beaches:

Further on from Carbis Bay is the village of Lelant where you will find miles of empty sand at Porthkidney. Steps lead onto the snow white sand and as you turn the corner at the point you will be presented with miles of empty snow white beach (even in August). Its beautiful if you want your own space, but don’t expect cafes etc, and the sea is not recommended for swimming due to undercurrents, hence it is so quiet.

In St Ives Porthmeor is the most popular for those Hip Young things!! It’s the surfing beach. It’s a stunning beach with a beautiful view of the Island and Chapel. It has a lovely casual terrace bar and café. Can be the windy side.

Porthminster is a beautiful beach for family’s and is easily accessed from the train, and bus stop, where there is also a car park. Porthminster has my favourite beach restaurant/café but you will need to book well in advance

The harbour beach is sweet and dead opposite a great local pub called the Sloop. You can hire small motor boats from here too. Here you are literally town centre.

Porthgwidden is a very sweet beach the other side of the island and also has a lovely beach side decked café.

Out of town there are of course so many beaches to visit. I would highly recommend Porthcurno though. A small white sandy cove beach with Jade green crystal clear sea. On your way stop at the Minack Theatre. Its well worth a visit and when you look down on the beach from here you can often sea the outlines of many basking sharks (totally harmless but very dramatic).
