The house has an authentic atmosphere, sleeps 4 people (and child up to 3 years) and is about 80 sqm. with ground floor and upper floor.

The house is functional, but older, so don't expect a luxury house. It is located about 4 km from Nexø and Balka Strand in lovely rural surroundings in connection with private agricultural property (primarily arable farming, and only a few cows).

The space
The house contains an older but functional kitchen with a newer dishwasher, a new gas stove with oven (standard and hot air) and a new refrigerator and freezer. The kitchen is at an angle to the dining area and living room. Older small toilet and bathroom with shower and gas heater. Separate entrance with room for storage.
Upstairs with 2 rooms – 1 room with double bed (140*200 cm) and cot and 1 room with 2 single beds.

BluRay DVD player as well as TV with license for DR's channels (and SVT1, NRK1 and ZDF). The TV has a common interface input, so you are welcome to bring your own card and card reader for e.g. Boxer, YouSee or similar.

Cleaning is done by the tenant upon departure, but can exceptionally be agreed with us for a fee (DKK 800). Please write a message in good time and we will find a solution. In case of inadequate cleaning, it will be deducted from the deposit.

Unfortunately, we do not allow animals. Smoking is not allowed indoors.

There may be some driving of agricultural machinery during the field season, but otherwise it is quiet and peaceful :-) . We have about 5-10 cows, which are in folds around the yard.

Balka beach, one of Denmark's most child-friendly beaches, as well as cozy Snogebæk, is within bicycle distance (approx. 4 km). So does Nexø with many shopping opportunities, the most necessary shops, cafes, art and glass. In addition, the rest of the island is easily reached by car or longer bike trips.

We are a married couple with 3 kids. We live in the countryside on a farm where Kristian primarily cultivates the fields. We therefore have no animal production, but we have some grazing cows in the fields around the farm. As hosts, hosts are close by if help or guidance is needed. Otherwise, we will let you enjoy your holiday in peace, and hope you will enjoy the surroundings as much as we do.
