I will be completely honest. The location, rooftop terrace, and solar hot water are certainly among the top features of staying here. The description is somewhat accurate. It would be best for a two to three night stay, or short term stay. I stayed far too long, due to the location being so close to the school I was attending at the time, and being out of town traveling.
The dog that belongs to Surama, (Gloria's sister), is among the loudest and worst behaved dogs that I have encountered in my life. I myself am a dog owner and avid dog lover. The dog barks incessantly, doesn't matter what time of day it is, morning, noon, night, it woke me up and kept me up on numerous occasions. This also doesn't include when it would run up to me when I would be coming or going to bark angrily at me as if it would attack me. This coupled with the people that live downstairs, never made it a particularly quiet place to live, even keeping in mind that we are in Arequipa, Peru.
With that said, Gloria as a host is pleasant and easy to deal with and would get back to me quickly with any questions I had, it was appreciated.
