Little house in the town center, behind the cathedral, in historical neighborhood, situated in a secluded blind alley with no traffic. With the garden which surrounds the house, one feels like being in the countryside.
Situated on the ground floor with a big terrace in front of the house, with an open view to the mediaeval city walls, two Hvar fortresses and the hills on the north side of the town, it is ideal summer home for two people who enjoy quiet holidays and value open space and garden.
It is also perfect accommodation for a family with a small child.
Sorry, not suitable for three adults.
Interaction with guests
I am a first door neighbor (my house is at the rear of the property) and I am always happy to be of assistance if assistance, information or tip is required. I respect my guests privacy, but I am gladly engaged in the conversation if they would like to know more about the town, island, country... And I always share some nice homemade deserts and home made
Other things to note
There is no washing machine in the house, but I am always willing to do the washing for my guests.
The towels are on display to use according to one's need, but I don't have the beach towels for my guests.
I tried to create a place for a relaxing holidays with homey atmosphere, so I would appreciate the guests whom I won't have to quiet down because they are waking up the neighborhood at the crack of dawn after partying all night.
I am a weaver and textile designer. I am from Zagreb but I moved to Hvar thirteen years ago because I wanted to live on this beautiful island.
I love town of Hvar with it's concentrated beauty, perfectly situated between the hills and the sea, bordered with the archipelago of the small islands.
I find it charming, with Venetian style architecture, tiny alleys filled with plants that boil out of the pots, huge main (and only) square that resembles huge theatre stage.
I love art, nature, plants, gardens, animals and spirit of the Mediterranean.
I like being a host, offering my home to people and hoping that they would bring home nice memories and that my place would be a part of that memories.
